Please remove my number from your call list

Calls 2-3 times a Day . I am on a no call List and want these calls stopped..............

Hello,
We get a call every day ( and I mean every day )from this number: 914-513-2840. I picked it up once and told them that we are on the " NO CALL list" and plese take us of their call list. It didn't help, we still get a call every day at all different times of the day.
We are very dissapointed and feel sorry for this company or organization that they have to do buisiness like that.

I, too, received several calls from this number. Looking it up online I learned as others have that it is related to the March of Dimes. I wasn't sure if it was a number that the March of Dimes in my state recognized--in other words, fraudulent or not. So I called my state organization and learned that the number belongs to the March of Dimes National Organization. I asked for my number to be dropped from the list and the state rep said she'd call and get it done. There is no question in my mind that the MOD is valid and worthy, but I agree with others that I don't want to be contacted by 'phone. Getting donations is a hard job, but 'phone solicitation turns off some folks.

Just called this # back because it shows up on my caller ID every day and they say they are March of Dimes. BS. It said if you would like to know more about our company (?) press 1. When I did it hung up on me. Don't waste your time calling the number because it is a speed dialer if you ask me.

Repeated telephone calls, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. No message ever left.
Very irritating

Keep getting this number calling me. No messages. Tell them to get me off their list!

On the March of Dimes Website mainpage, scroll to the bottom and click on contact us. Then scroll to the bottom and click on privacy policy. Scroll down again and in the bottom paragraph are links to their opt-out page. Sheeesh! what a lot of nonsense to go through. I also used their contact e-mail form from the contact page and of course selected telemarketing from the choice box. I typed this message : Please stop calling this phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx) . We will not consider making any further donations to March of Dimes until this has ceased. We shall see

914-513-2840 is a call from the March of Dimes!  I called it at 8:25 HST and of course, they are closed since they are on the East Coast!  Their recording came on, stating 'Thank you for calling the March of Dimes.'

same thing, same damn number keeps popping up, no idea who this is.

There is only two ways to stop these calls that I know of, and believe me I did a lot of research.

1. Call your phone company and have them block the number because of harassment.

2. get one of these

Please let me know if they removed your number.  I am getting calls EVERY DAY.  Even weekend and got one MOTHER'S DAY. Caller ID says MARCH OF DIMES

Note that charities are exempt from the Do Not Call registry.

March of Dimes

This number belongs to the March of Dimes. I have ignored several calls received from this number. Today I decided to answer and it was a representative asking for my "help" other than money. I declined and hung up before she could finish her sentence.

As others have noted, this is a solicitation from the March of Dimes. When I called the number, I got the same message that others have reported, but was NOT able to speak with a person. As a result, I called the March of Dimes donation line and was told to call 1-800-996-2724. Indeed, this put me through to a person, Melissa Campbell calling for the March of Dimes. I have asked her to remove me from the list. She said that she will, but it may take 30 days.

I get a ton of calls from these people at around midnight and sometimes at 2am. I got fed up once and picked up the phone and disided to pose as a FBI agent.....when I responded as such I could hear muffled talking in the background " oh sh*t man....what do I do ?!?!.....just hang up just hang up!!" and soon after the person hung up. I did not get a call from them for nearly 3 months and then all of a sudden they poped back up again !!!!!!

In the phone book, my number is listed first initial, last name, no address, so solicitors keep calling asking for someone that's obviously not me (with addresses seemingly pulled out of left field). They keep on calling me, but they don't seem to care when I tell them they have the wrong number and I'm on the do not call registry, because they keep calling to ask for someone else!

If these are non-profit organizations, who pays for the telemarketers to call and harass us.  I'm sure they're no voluntaring  their time.

This CID appears at least daily. The caller hangs up after listening to our answering machine's message.

914-513-2840 called Christmas morning - 1:14 a.m.  March of Dimes with recording "Please hold for the next available operator to pledge your donation".
I gave to them once, never again. I did not hold, I hung up. Next time, I will try to speak to a person to have my number removed.
Pests. Do not contribute to march of dimes, otherwise you will be called every day and night.

March of Dimes aggravating me to death. Their calls have made me decide to NEVER contribute again.

This is the March of Dimes.  They call all the time.  If the answering machine comes on, they don't leave a message.  If I answer the phone, they hang up. Didn't appreciate this at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.  I am a past donor to this organization but am no longer giving them a penny.
