Yes. All these "free alarm" calls are scams in the sense that they want you to sign up for an overpriced monthly monitoring fee. Just not  worth it. The idiots behind this number continue to violate Federal DNC laws in their endless search to find suckers dumb enough to waste their money on a useless "alarm system."

Fradulent con artist using phony caller ID of "Customer Care." Calls from this shyster's scam operation are now BLOCKED.

2/26 15:22 PST NOMOROBO must be working.  Only rang once and ID shows unknown.  Apparently, this is my first call from this number, since I don't see that I have reported previously and isn't on my blocker.  I have noticed that recently, the number of unwanted calls seems to have dropped, but that just may be because it is near the end of the shortest month of the year.  Keeping my fingers crossed that the decline continues, though.

I just got ANOTHER call from this number. Same thing as all the rest of you. I'm also ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST!

I'm ready to say goodbye to phone. That's about the only calls I get anymore are the SPAM or 1-800 numbers. I don't have a cell as the land line is cheaper.
I'm going to do some checking as to how we can REALLY REPORT this and/or all others that do NOT ABIDE BY THE DO NOT CALL LIST! It is my understanding that you can get up to 1000.00.

Would not identify who is calling and when call number back says press one to be put O&m do not call list. We are already on the do not call list!!!!!! Next time will pretend to want and report them so they can be fined!!!!

I had already entered area code 914 to my call blocker as a result of similar nonsense months ago so I was undisturbed by this new batch of parasites.

Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker.  Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-)   I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to annoying political parties and charities.  After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use.  The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.

I also am on the do not call registry but keep getting calls from this number.  It is a scam for a "free alarm system.  Oh my god I am so sick of these calls, guess the do not call government is on furlough just like the other 800,000 people.  God bless America, not the land of the free!

Called on 10-7-13  12:13 PM.   Did same thing. Pressed 1 and got "Stacy" who identified herself as GE Home Security.  I told her I was on the DNC list and to remove me from her system. Silence... I asked if she heard me and she said "I heard you Mather F___er" and hung up.  Must be a high class company?:-)

press 1 ..."  No doubt in my mind it was a scam, but when I report these numbers, I like to have details, so I pressed 1 ... and got a live person who wanted to know how I was ... so I asked "what company or who monitors the system and how much is the monthly fee for the service .... Guess that caught them off guard, only answer I got was dead silence then they hung up.  
Number blocked on my phone; reported here; complaint filed with DNC & my state public service commission.

914-530-2282 Trying to sell Health Insurance.  BIG RED FLAG.....Tried to get personal information, I refused & started asking him what company was he with & that I wanted to speak to his supervisor, he cursed me & hung up.

 They call every other day.  Fed up with this so-called company calling.

Just got a call from this number.  CID just says "CUSTOMER CARE" & the phone number.  They declined to leave a message?

The Caller ID reads, "Customer Care."  A scam, I'm sure.  Aren't they all?

Called hung up when answering machine picked up. ID was Unknown Name.

A***ole scammer called trying to sell "health insurance". When I asked for contact information he swore at me then hung up.

Same situation Duncan  has.  Keep getting calls from 914/530-2282, when I answer, it hangs up on me.  When I call back, same prompt to be placed on the do not call list.  I have done this option at least 5 times already.  I continue to get calls even though I already requested no to be called back.  This has continued for a good 3 or more months.
