Got a call from 914-594-9023. this call is unwanted. I have a do not call list!

I continue to get calls from this number no matter how many times I have asked to be removed from their calling list. This morning alone, I received three calls! How can I make this stop???

If the Do Not Call people cannot shut down this type of operation, why are we paying them?

Just received (10:30 am EST, 12/5/12) a robocall exhorting me to take advantage of a "final offer" to lower my credit card rates. The speaker claimed it was related to the stimulus package, but did not divulge the company making the offer.

non stop calls in 1 day from multiple #'s

These people keep calling and sometimes they call twice a day leaving messages like please call us about your card credit - nothing's wrong with it but we can lower your interest rates
i've ask repeatedly that they quite calling - this last time i was very sweet and got the name of the company then lit into them about calling me and they just hung up on me when i demanded that they answer that they understood NOT to call me any more or my lawyer would be calling them and i'm also on the National Do Not Call List and they keep calling

they call themselves Card Member Services calling for Visa and Master Card to lower interest rates
i called my credit card company and the lady i spoke to was kind enough to check to make sure i was still on the do not call list (I was) so she file a complaint with the National Do Not Call List on my behalf and told me every time i get one of these calls to file a complaint
just google National Do Not Call list - it's a .gov website and very easy to file a complaint
maybe  it they get bombarded with emails something will stop these phone calls !

got the same old call as everyone else today. called back, got hung up on. maybe it should be brought to the attention of their phone service provider?

Really getting tired of trying to remove myself from their call list!  Their calls are incessant and highly annoying.  Please shut these monky's down!

When they came on the line, I said that since we have established that you are a p*****tute, what services do you provide. She went balistic on me. LOL

i am so sick and tired of getting these calls about reducing my interest.
every call says this is your last notice.
when i ask them to stop they say yes but, guess what they don't.
how do we stop them from calling?

Buy a Digitone Call Blocker.  Can program up to 80 numbers to block.  Either the exact number or entire area code.  Phone never rings and no "silent" messages are recorded.  It's great to have a quiet phone!

Read Mike's note about digitone - methinks he's as bad as the scammers, 'cause this ain't nuttin' but a site sellin' a call blockin' machine.  Yarite.  I'll pass on the digitone and keep filing the complaints.  Eventually whoever is spoofing these numbers is gonna slip, and someone is gonna catch them.  In the meantime, I just hit the talk button on the phone when they call, but believe me, it's not my voice they hear.  <snicker snicker>

Hit the #1button, told I was number 6 in the waiting line. Someone answered that I could not hear very good and diffently was not in English.

Well its that time of year again when these idiots call and try to scam you.....You cant stop them....Do not call list doesnt work, they just use a ton of different numbers to call you from...Attorney Generals office is of no help, (overwhelming amount of complaints received) ...If you can find the patients to ignore them....dont answer any calls from numbers that your not familiar with (if you have caller id)...Also, if you have a block unwanted calls or a reject calls option on your phone, use that and you can "ignore" their calls automatically and you wont even hear the phone ring...  I wish someone would step in and stop these idiots, but since its impossible, your better off just putting blocks on your phone.

Thank you for all the info. That takes a lot of work! I have been harrassed 6-12 times a day for a year and a half. Plan to try some of your suggestions.

Got another call.  They just won't stop.  Try to talk to them, but they hang up when they find out you're not interested.

No amount of fines or penalties, short of some tragic accident, will stop these thieves, none at all.  The amount that they steal far exceeds all of the fines and penalties that would ever be levied against them, otherwise they would have disappeared by now.  That they are 'taken down' but still show up via another phone spoofing service is proof positive of this.

We get these calls all the time.
I have talked to them and have been told they would remove us from their list but still get the calls.
We don't have a credit card.

The criminals behind this operation aren't going to pay attention to you asking to be removed from their list. Their calls cost them nothing and they can make a million of them a day so they have no intention of ever removing someone. When you press a key to talk to them all that is accomplished is to verify that they have a working number.
