have spent nearly an hour now on line looking up all the unwanted calls I have been getting this month- this telephone no is one-it showed on caller Id--I have gotten calls where  a man stumbles not sure who he is looking for and hangs up thee is noise int he background- I assume its some fool attempting to sell me something -- I dont have a fax machine  to leave on-must say its a great idea-just either dont answer or slam the phone down-I am on a do not call list  but judging by the called I doubt  this concerns them-

Received phone call from 914 685 2169, chimney sweeping. She hung up on me after I told her know. It was out of state.

Called to say evacuate the house. A fire alarm.

Replying to Allen....Allen, you ask how you can stop these calls from coming in?  What I have been doing, and it works like a charm.  Every  time I get some idiot who keeps calling, I put on my Fax and once they get the dreaded screech, they get the message that it's a Fax line and stop calling.  Understand, telemarketers are not the sharpest tools in the shed, dosen't take much to out smart them...Good Luck !

Same thing as everyone else. Local area code and then no message

Had a tracer put on this number.  Let's see what the police say

Long silence after answering, then caller identified themself as a chimney sweep service.
My response was to just hang up.

Received call..no message left. When you dial back it says call cannot be completed as dialed.

Answered because the call came from a local area code.  There was a man on the other end just laughing.
There was noise in the background - sounded like a call center.  After I hung up I blocked the number.

I answered the phone and the person on the other end sounded half asleep saying hello, then they hung up.

"Out of area, " hung up without leaving message.

Just another "No message left"call.How can I stop these increasing calls from coming in?
