This is a SCAM. Call Verizon to report the incident and then block the number. Verizon will never go through a third party to collect money, they will bill you directly.

Same for me. I live in Montreal (Canada) and I called my husband from a phone boot that is own by Bell and he received 7 calls, he did not answered and now I owe them 96.63$. I dont' know what to do, is it a scam or not ? I don't want to pay but as the same time I don't want a collection agency to call me. Videotron doesn't know anything about it and Bell sait to me that they can't do nothing.
What can we do?

This same number called me because i owe for a collect call.
BY THE WAY just because you are on the national "do not call registry" it does not mean that it applies to all companies, only companies who wanted to be part of that are the ones that will not call you. however the national do no call registry was sold a year after it came out to all the companies who did not want to participate in it. So really it is just another database for telemarketers. sucks doesnt it :(

They are the "middleman" that processes the collect cell phone calls. When my son called me collect I had a message telling me I would be receiving a text with the bill from 3G for the $12.99 that it would NOT be on my cell phone billing.

On some of the texts I received from the 3G company, there was a mailing address. They do offer an online option in the message I just received from them.

I got a recorded message phone call from this number asking me to pay 12:99, this goddam scam is pissing me off, I got a collect call from a family member that has a Videotron cell service, I am using a Roger Service, what does this 3G collect thing has to do with anything?

I have incurred a $12.99 debt on my cell phone to this company 3G collect.
I have had numerous texts from the company which have been reflected on
my cell phone bill ( but not the $12.99 charge ). I wish to pay the bill by a conventional
method of sending a money order to a mailing address, but, on calling the phone
number the only option offered is credit card payment. My debt to the 3G company
is now $ 19.64, and supposedly climbing. I do not wish to pay by credit card, but I
do wish to pay the debt and get these 3G people off my back.
Any suggestions anyone?

My husband called my call phone from a pay phone collect and now this 3gcollect is sending me tons of texts everyday that I owe them $12.99 and the interest is adding up. If I dont pay it, it will go to collections. It is the same address in New York that someone else posted.
What shall we do to stop this?

They called my cell phone today. They are a company who processes collect calls to cell phones. I live in Toronto and received a collect call from a Toronto phone, this company claims to be in New York and keeps sending me texts asking me to pay $12.99 by cheque and mail it to a p.o. box in NY. I was already charged by my cell provider. It must be part of some scam.
