Received a call from this number - when I answered there was no erspnse on the other end. I then called the number back and got a recording to enter my number to be removed from their call list. I did not enter my number as I am suspicious about providing ANY information without knowing who is on the other end.

I have recieved this call on my cell phone multiple times, though most of the time the number is blocked, it looked like this last time they slipped up.  They claim to be a car company trying to re-instate your warranty.  When I actually got to talk to a real person (as opposed to a computer) they refused to take me off their calling list.  I asked to speak to a manager, but was reffused, and the man was becomming increasingly rude, telling me to "hurry the f*** up, I have to make some sales today" and finally admitting he WAS the manager. This is a credit card fishing scam, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INVORMATION!!

I get calls from this number constantly - adn there is no one on the other end!! Who is this???????????????????/

(916)219-8135 is not the only number placing calls for this warranty scam.  (916)219-8133, (916) 219-8134,(916) 219 8138, (973) 224 8115, (719) 278 2331, (702)520-1380, (719) 576-0278 have also been coming across for the past 15 days.  What a nuisance.

The company is called The Warranty Group.  They also tend to call using a (715) area code number.  I tried to get my cell phone and work phone numbers  put on their Do Not Call list, but I still receive calls on my office line.

They keep calling my buisness taking up one of my lines, my phone has an automated attendant so the calls never makes it through , I guess their computers cant press 0 for an operator, but im tired of seeing this number on the CID's, If they are calling my 1-800 line I will be filing suit.

I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who's being stalked by these people. It's not just from this number, they have called from 5 different states. I do not even own a car! I'm wondering if this has something to do with Sprint? My whole family is being bombarded with these bogus phone calls. My mother works at the local hospital, and they are even calling into patient rooms! My mom got on the phone, and they yelled at HER, telling her that they would have to call back and verify this information. They are still calling the hospital, my friends, my family, and everyone I know who has a Sprint cell phone. I had to put my cell number on the "Do Not Call Registry." Guess I will have to wait it out.

same here.  automated thing says my car warranty expired.  Here's the fun part: I am legally blind and can't even drive!  HA!

I have been getting calls from this number for about four weeks now. I WISH I HAD A FACTORY WARRANTY ON MY CAR! It's a 1996 Ford Explorer and the warranty expired seven years ago!!! I wish somebody could put an end to this harrassment! I too have requested removal from their list to no avail. Isn't it illegal for them to continue calling after you tell them not to? I like the last response!!! I think I'll do the same!

Same as the other comments.  We just got our first call like this.  My husband decided to mess around with them and say he had a Lamborghini Diablo to which he was told, yep, your warranty is expiring.  My husband said, "You don't sound like the people I deal with and in fact, I just spoke to my car salesman last week" and the caller said, "well, uhm, maybe that's because I'm African American."

They called my home number - recorded message.  I pressed 1 to speak with a live person, and they couldn't tell me what car they were calling about.  I said "you called me, you can't tell me what car you're talking about?" and she said no.  I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me.

I continue to get these calls on my cell phone. This time for the first time it left a message - Car warrantee crap. This needs to die. When I call it back it is a recording saying "enter your phone number to be taken off our list". What list? I didn't give my number. I ignore the call hoping they will go away after I NEVER answer or respond.
