I just got the exact same message word for word as Brad did, but from Nelson,  his phone number came from 646-583-4028. Glad we have internet to search scams like this!!!!!!!

I had the same thing happen too from Ashley Walters. It sounded serious that she was totally interested in buying the boat! WOW, this person is dumb. When you sell something on Kijiji, the other person fronts the $$$, not you. If people can't clue into this well, shame one you!!

Ashley Walters just bought my boat too (10 minutes ago).....sounded like a scam as I would not have expected a person named Ashley Walters to speak in broken english - the same story below matches ....... scam confirmed.

We just received this exact message from Ashley Walters, interested in buying our boat from the kijiji website. She or he used the 347-620-6702 # to text us first, then the email, then the Paypal request.

Same email reference to communicate but now using this # 347-620-6702.  This was also posted on Kijiji.ca.  This is very similar to a post I had from a few years back for a skidoo sale.  With past experience I was suspicious immediately..
