It's NOT the FCC that takes reports on these types of calls - its the FTC, the Federal Trade Commission.

How on Earth can a company charge ME when I call THEM? Seriously, how would they get my money? I think this is BS.

This phone number is a router number over 150 company have their phone calls routed through this main server.... it is not all the same company calling you guys. If you are yelling at them thinking it is and they are still calling its because its not the same company U have my insurance with Nations Health Solutions they off very good valid plan mine is a United Health Care I love it so I took the time to ask them what the deal was why if their number that I am supposed to call different than the one they originally called from they explained that if thousands of non client based people called back the call volume would be to much for them so they have it routed My agent is Teida and she is awesome always answers my questions

I get calls at my home# from this ph# during the day while I'm at work. It stopped for a few days. This ph# shows up on my cell#. They know my name. I am both angry and slightly scared.
Ruth 2011-08-12 23:45:00 Unknown
These are "out of service" phone numbers used as caller ID ph# by outbound calling telemarketing firms. They are based on every city and state so you really aren't calling the business that telemarketed you!
These fake ph# show on your caller id to make you pick up your receiver. (Very few telemarketers list an 800# on caller id anymore.) When you call the ph# back, it's an automated "DNC offer" recording. If you do leave your ph# to be added to the DNC, you get CHARGED to leave it!!
It's almost unavoidable. Many everyday activities like email, IM, post office change of address, credit card offers, etc contribute to this problem. It's like chasing your own tail.
What! 2011-08-05 16:40:37 Unknown
R U kidding me? So this is how they make their money? It's enough they call you at all. So when you get mad enough to call their fake phone# on your caller id, it's just an automated recorder to add your name to the DNC list.
Now you are telling me they make $$ from you calling back to add yourself to the DNC list? To top it off the DNC list has some expiration date! Now I'm not just angry but scared, too.

This is one of many fake phone#s that show on your caller id from telemarketer firms in various states. This is to make you pick up your phone, thinking they are a legitimate business you already have a relationship with.

I know how you all feel, they call me about 3 times a day. @kay, I totally agree because if you answer it they will know that the number is in service, and continue calling. so don't answer it. I don't know who they are, but I'd appreciate it if they'd stop calling me because it's getting REALLY. annoying. does anyone else think this?
Jill Quick 2011-07-05 21:54:52 Unknown

This # has called my cell phone repeatedly the last week or so, and when I answer there's no reply. Now I'm just ignoring it. WhitePages.com says it's a land line in Oklahoma.

Telemarketer from a "Debt Relief" organization. Did not identify his company. I previously asked them not to call, but guess what, they did it again. Rude individual. He starts off on his speech on how they can help me with debts. Told him I was not interested. His snappy comeback was, "so, you don't owe anything huh." Told him he was rude and again asked them not to call.

I just got a new cell phone number and every since I got it they call me asking for some Dean guy?? I told them I don't know who that is and I told them I just got this number and they still call! I hate it!
miz 2011-06-06 21:07:12 Unknown
I am on the Do Not Call Registry, and have been getting calls from this number. It is a recording that is offering grants for your business. Not interested quit calling!
mimi 2011-06-06 21:07:12 Unknown
thank you for reporting them. they're still in operaton as of 1/5/2011. I'd love to do the 100 x/day calls, but I won't waste my minutes on them. I have added them to the spam group on my phone, which automatically assigns them a silent ring tone, since my carrier deosn't have a means of blocking unwanted calls.
Rhinoplasty 2011-06-06 21:07:12 Unknown
Sounds like a lending scam. "...pay salaries, hire staff, blah, blah, blah. To learn more how to secure your grant and get the money you need to grow your business. Grants are awarded on a first come, first serve basis."
Avi 2011-06-06 21:07:12 Unknown
I'm getting SPAM calls from this number too. ANNOYING!

I got another call from this number but on my land line this time. It was a recording saying it was (something-or-other) merchant bank and that we had promised to send "our" rep a copy of our merchant bank statement and had not done it. I waited for a person and when he came on the line I asked who it was and why they were calling because we are on the Do-Not-Call list. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he hung up on me.
We have no relationship with this company and we are on the Do-Not-Call Registry, so I have reported this to the FTC.

"Service Message
918-442-0303"
Automated (recorded) message announcing in male stentorian "The United States of America" has stimulation finds for me. Usual "free" grant money. Press 1 to apply, press 2 "if this call was misdirected.(or words to that effect)." I pressed 2 and was disconnected. I placed this call number on my incoming barred number interceptor.

They asked for my Boss by name. I said he was not her and asked if there was something I could help them with they asked if I was a company owner. I said no and they hung up right away.

Got call from this number on 2/7 at 3:40 PM from this number... was in between appointments and said "hello?" 3 times in about a 30-second span. After the 3rd 'hello' the caller simply said only "goodby' and hung up on me! They clearly did not want to talk to me about anything in particular and only wanted me to answer the phone (to see if I was actually home? to see if my number was still active?? who knows...)
Melissa Roberts 2011-06-06 21:07:12 Unknown
Report them for it, there number is 1-800-301-3240.
