I called back the number and I asked what componey it was they said that they are reps for UNITED CASH LOAN.  This is a loan that I mpaid off in payments because the guy that contacted me last year said I was going to jail and threating me.  I freaked out and arraged monthly payments and paid it off.  About 6 months later I started getting these calls again sent it to voice mail and they don't leave messages.  So I called back the number and the lady wanted info from me I told her to give me her info first and she was giving me the run around.  Then she asked if I was Stephani ... I told her yes  and she wanted me to give my social and I told her I dont give that info.   They are claiming they represent UNITED CASH LOANS but I had already paid that off.  I don't know why they keep calling me.

Got two identical calls from this number back to back while at work just before quitting time.  No message, no ID and you cannot call back as the number is only outbound calls.  This appears to be 500 Fast Cash and they are always looking for someone you've never heard of.  They call all hours of the day and night, do not care if they have a land line, cell phone, CB or Ham radio.  They send smoke signals, carrier pigeons, courier, wire and telegraph.  They don't care that you have never done business with them, lie to you, deceive you and are downright rude, relentless and awful. Just think of the junk that piles up on your carpet or floor and they're the stuff that falls into the cracks or makes it way down to the bottom that the vacuum cannot clean up. Call them loan sharks, scam artists or the devil incarnate.  Who cares? The calls will not stop.

I get calls on my cell and at my place of work almost 2-3 times a day.  the number on my phone work pops as 9184429170.  Not even a legitimate number.  On my cell it pops up a 918-4429170.  When I answer it at work they hang up.  Only once my coworker answer and a woman asked for me by name.  I left her on hold til she hung up

Some lady said I owe $65.00 dollars on some payday loan (payday advance)? I asked for proof to be mailed to me of the bill. She said they can only send an e-mail ... I told her with her address she said yes and who they where collecting for ...as so I can dispute it with the company if it looks fake. And I needed her address to send a money order only too if I do owe $$$. I told her no debit/credit or bank account info does she get. Lets see if that e-mail comes? A billion SCAMS and artists out on the net!!!!

I get the same rude man. I have too talked to him also. He wants money for a bill, but gives you no proof of the bill. I have reported him to the BBB.

I get call every other day from OTO group. I tell whoever answers from them not to call but still they call.

Get several calls a week to my Utah home.  I don't answer and no message if left.  Last one was from 603-214-9821.

Advice: When They call, be unbearably RUDE. You have the right to be so.
Remember YOU are paying for the phone service, NOT them.
You are NOT paying to provide a free channel to your house (on your own time) for any scum yahoo to sell his/her garbage whatever it may be.

The outrage is, that some people work at night (so you and this scum can have the important service they may need) so have to sleep during the day. How ARE THEY TO GET THE SLEEP THEY NEED AND DESERVE if these garbage sleazeballs wake them up?

The ONLY way to deal with these is to monitor your calls - need caller ID service though.
I DO NOT pick up ANY calls where I don't recognize the caller or the number - ever - no exceptions.
Hidden numbers I just laugh at.
I let the answering machine pick it up (after 4 rings).
If it's important, they'll leave a message on the machine.

This is the only way to screw them.

VERIZON IS SELLING our numbers!!

I had Comcast triple service (phone, TV, internet). Never a junk call; I have been on the Federal do not call list since 2003.
In November 2010 I switched to Verizon (Fios) from Comcast. The deluge of junk calls begun soon after. I live in a well-to do economic area/county.

Conclusion: Verizon is selling our numbers.

Got 2 calls from OTO Group today - first one I didn't answer, they left no voicemail; I answered the 2nd call and the person said something about "home protection" and hung up.  Calls came from 406 area code (MT)

Receiving continuous calls where they hang up before you can even answer, or leave no message on the answering machine.  Tried to call them - constantly busy.  I am on do not call list.. makes no difference.  Need these calls to GO AWAY!!!!!

I live in WA state and seem to get this caller calling me at work harassing me. He has an Indian accent and is very rude.

Not just from this Number........  Oto Group calls me from all of these numbers,  no response when I pick up:  701-625-5444, 603-214-3653, and 978-570-2319 just recently

Att wireless. Got call on 12/3/2010 no message left.

Have received 3 calls with one VM from this Oklahoma area code in the past two days.

I have received several calls from this number--the most recent has been once a day for the past 3 days.  I, too, am on the Do No Call List, but that doesn't seem to stop this caller.  I have not called the number back, as I do not want to get "locked" into anything by returning the call.

Once you dial 1-800, it's like dialing *82 which unblocks your number.  800 Always know where your calling from  FYI.

Got two calls from this number recently. Wasn't home so didn't answer.

i'm also on the do not call list. 9184420710 called me once last night at 5:08pm and just now at 2:58pm. i don't answer calls i don't know and they didn't leave a message either time. I'm with AT&T.

This number has called my cell 3 times in the last week; always disconnects before I can answer.  I have Verizon.  I called back and got automated msg saying, "Thank you for calling back.  Push one if you wish to be placed on our "do not call" list and not receive any future offers."  I did so we'll see what happens.

Called my cell phone (Verizon) twice on 1-5-10. Answered second time.

- "I'm not interested." (I hear my words several seconds after I speak them.)
- I get that alot. I just need to confirm some basic information so a salesperson can give you the details so you can make an informed decision. Are you the homeowner?

Repeat two or three times.
- blah blah blah so I can transfer you to a salesperson.
- "Ok," planning to hang up while I'm being transferred to the salesperson.
- Are you the homeowner?
- "Yes."
- Could you state your first and last name so the salesperson will know who he's talking to?
- "I'm uncomfortable continuing with this phone call because it sounds like one of those where a phone call is recorded and snipped together to sound like something else."

Within a minute or two I received a phone call from 334-581-1112 (no response when answered), then another one 18 minutes later (not answered).

I received a message from this phone number on my cell phone, saying that they were from the "Home Security Group".  I told them not to call again.  They called before and I did call back and told them to take my name off their list.  They still called again.  I also filed a report with the FTC.  I'll do that again, though I'm not sure it will help.

I had a missed call from (918) 442-0710 today (12/6/10) at 2:40PM, but the caller did not leave a message.  This is the third time I have received a call from this number & they did not leave a message any of those times.  I decided to call them back today & the call goes directly to an automated message that states if I would like to be removed from their promotions call list I should press "1" to remove my number & add it to the do not call list.  I'm confused because I'm already on the do not call list (registered months ago).  Weird.

Please file complaints on the DoNotCall website, so they can look into this.

This is not a Verizon issue. I am with Vonage, have my number the to do-not-call list and have received a call from this number 4 times today. They do not leave a message.

pain in the !@#  keeps calling my cell number.  Got a person one time, told them to quit calling.  2 hrs later get another call.  what the ???
