Michael jones left message claimg I need to have my attorney call.  Of I don't I will pay the price.    This very upsetting.    

These ppl called me saying that I owe money to America cash loans. I never gotten a loan from this company before nor heard of them. These calls came in on Monday December 9, 2013 at 11:33am. A lady name Michelle Jones called me. She told on Monday that I owe $463.00 to speedy cash and today their telling me I hav to pay $551.00 to American cash...ok people which is it. Then she said that if I didn't pay them that I will be pick up by the police for investigation and have to sit in jail for 4 to 5 days, then the judge will make me pay 5,000 if I didn't have that then I will be in jail for 3 to 6 months. She said that they tried to get in contact wit me 10 times and then she said we tried twice. Like lady you started calling me yesterday and then had the nerve to call my job. Like I am a child care provider and I don't hav time for these scam. Then she said that those company's will file a fraud report and send me to jail. Edward Brown law firm is a real law firm but not in Bristow, OK. Their law firm is located at 3300 n. Ridge rd. suite 245 Ellicott city, MD 21043 and the number I have for them is 310-922-0694. Like I did my research and I called the police. These people crazy

I received the same message, and told them I was calling my local police department to report them.  They informed me that if I did, the police would arrest ME, since I had a warrant for my arrest.  Little did they know that I worked for an attorney, so I know that if a warrant was issued, and since I have lived in the same place for over 22 years, and my son worked for the police department and still has friends there, I would have been arrested already.  I did contact the police department, filed a report, and let the officer hear the message I recorded.  He instructed me to block them from my phone, that it was a scam where they try to get more of your information for illegal use.  These people are absolutely crazy, and before they say they represent firms in the US, need to practice their US accent!

These jerks call at least 20a times a day.  They call my office home cell and family members.    I just laugh at them and give them my attorneys phone number.   They have never called my.attorney.  also I tell them I am recording the call.  JERKS!  I am sure their Cow God would frown on their ways.

I've been receiving threatening calls from (918) 807-6033 claiming I need to have my attorney call them, otherwise, I will
be paying the price later.  I find this to be very disturbing.

Thess asshats called my work line. Later that eveining they called twice in four minutes. I was helping my kid with hter homework, ignored it. I am at my desk today and lo and behold, they call again. THey of course treid to advise me of a legal matter. I asked " who are you and what the F**K do you want? " Sir I am sdkfdfdhjd (insert middle eastern name here).
Now i am pissed I dont have a payday loan and havent had one in 10 years? Now i have progressed to a level of pissed off I havent been in years.
" Look here hadji I  will drive to oklahoma and pull you out of your cubicle and use your head to wipe the walls with. I will not get in hot water at work over your harassing phone calls. If you contact me again it will be filed as harassment. If after this you continue I will come north to Oklahome and keep my promise."
Now here is the part where he threatens to have me arrested. Dude really? I dont think so scooter.

I got a call from these people saying they are from Brown and Edward law firm out of OK.  When the lady asked if I knew I was being sued I laughed and told her you know I don't since I am not being sued.  She transferred, by hitting a button on the phone and putting it down, and "sheldon" answered.  he told me that he was going to read me an affidavit about the pending case and I was not allowed to speak durng the reading, as it was being recorded for court purposes.  When I told him that I wanted to know what this was about, he said something in his horrible english and hung up.  
Everyone needs to know not to answer any of these peoples questions.  They only get a portion of the information from where ever they buy or harvest it from, the rest the fill in the blanks with your answers.  They are totally scammers.  I have been recieveng these calls for years so I just screw with the people now.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

this number is calling me and saying i owe for a unpaid payday loan for cash usa from 918-807-6033 saying they were from brown and edwards in oklahoma.  making threats to have me arrested.....idiots

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I received a threatening phone call from someone who identified himself as Mike Anderson, with a very weird accent, and wished me a "good luck" in my "matter" in which he did not state, if I didn't return his call. Who do I report these threatening calls to?
