Yet another report of Rude, Crude, Obnoxious telephone ettiquite on behalf of the operators on the other end of the call.  I like all of you did not recognize the number calling.  When I asked who was calling, the rather rude man stated that he wanted to speak to (such and such), in return I asked who was calling.  He said "is this such and such"?  I repeated my question for "who is calling"?  He proceeded with what I can only term as some sort of a script.  "If this is such and such, any information I obtain will be used to collect a debit.  I stopped him and asked once again who he was...  he asked if I were such and such yet again,  I responded "NO" I am not, and in the future it is only polite to give the caller on the other end of the phone the courtesy of your name or the company that you are calling for.  The man responded "LIAR" and hung up on me.  I never had the opportunity to tell him that my number is a new one for me - and that I get occasional calls for the same person that he was asking for, didn't even have the opportunity to ask him to remove my number from his calling list.  I would have thought that a business would train their phone operators / collection agents that you can attract more bees with Honey than with vinegar.  Oh well, just goes to show you the state of affairs that our world is in these days.  Personally if the man on the other end of the line would have been half way polite or even have decent manners - I would have been glad to have given his the information he was seeking on the person in question...  Oh well...  I guess they will never learn.  You can bet that I will no longer be taking calls from that number.

I have received several unintelligable vmm from this number

This number has been calling me for months and with no pattern. The caller does not leave a message. When I called the message back, I did not get an answer. This has gone on for some months now. I have no known debt currently in collections. I used to live in NC with a 919 area code, but I have reloacted to another state. The only people who know my new numver are the ones who should know it, so I found it quite odd that a Raleigh/Durham phone number was calling.

This number called me twice, nearly back to back today. I let it go to my VM because I don't answer numbers I do not know. They didn't leave a message so I googled it. I have found that they claim to be a debt collector but instead of telling you owe a bill and need to pay it, they get rude and threaten to ruin your credit or yell that you need to give them money. I called this number back blocked and got a very rude woman who not only wouldn't tell me her name or the name of the company but she yelled and cussed at me and then hung up on me, so I called back and got the same treatment. I waited and called again in hopes to get someone else and I did, it was a man, who was nice enough to at least not yell and tell me the name of the company, but he also asked for my information and I would not give it to him and just hung up. Now I know next time this number decides to come across my phone to answer and be very rude right back to them. I am sure this is a scam as no business with any integrity, and wanting to get money out of me, would have employees that conduct themselves in such an awful and rude manor.

The message states that they are a collection agency, and any information they obtain will be used to collect a debt.

Received a call from this number. First a recording asking for a person to press 1 if not this person press 2. I am related to this person so I pressed 2. When a man (and I use that term loosely because of his attitude) came on, I explained that this was not her number and she did not live in this area anymore but I would give him her address so they could write to her. I explained that she is over 85 yrs old and does not pick up her home  phone unless she knows the caller so likely she would not answer an unidentified number. The "man" said in a not so nice voice," well if she doesnt answer the phone, that's her  problem, not mine." I said look do you want her address to clear up this matter? He beligerently said hey if she doesn't want to answer the phone that's her choice. At that point I said loudly. Look I tried to cooperate with you and hung up.

I received a call from this number as well. They presented themselves to me as a bill collector on an account i thought had been settled years ago. Instead of just paying it, I contacted the company they claimed to represent and was informed that the account had in fact been paid off 2 years ago. I'm unsure of who's numbers have gotten crossed, but I'll definitely not be sharing my information with this number.

just called me very rude person   im guess a debt collactor asked for someone i dont know just got this new number like few days ago.i asked him to take this number off their list he got really loud  very nasty i just said  good bye and hung up

Exactly... I got the message just a few minutes ago. That's why I looked up the number.

Recieved a call from this number, no message was left. I don't intend on calling them back, probably a creditor.

This # just called me a few minutes ago. I answered and it was a recording. The female voice stated, "This is a call for (name). If this is (name) press 1, if this is not (name) press 2, or you can call us back at 919-600-5470". Let's look at this rationally and logically. If this is an important phone call, a human being should be doing it. I don't know why they are calling me or what it's for. I have never been rude to or hung up on a respectful debt collector. If they believe I have an outstanding debt, they can call me personally and I will be happy to speak with them and arrange a payment.

FCC need to check these people out! they call and don't leave a message, when you call back no one will answer the phone

This number will not tell you who they are when you call the number back...they will
just answer with May I help you? and will not give out their information....so its most
likely some sort of scam
