I too received a similar phone call from a 'Dave Clark'.  The amount they wanted was also 430.  His banker went by the name of Curt Miller of North Shore Financial of Virginia Beach.  I could not find any record of this company with the secretary of state of VA.  A reverse seach of Miller's phone number (757-351-4145) indicated a residence in Raleigh NC, Dave Clark's location.  In addition, Clark claimed he spoken with his lawyer and that paying the closing costs up front was legitimate for this type of transaction.  He refused to give me the lawyer's name and phone number.

I got the same call last week, from "David Clark" wanted to buy my timeshare and his " North Shore Financial" guy call me to ask details of my timeshare so he could finance the timeshare purchase;  fortunately I was on vacation and could not provide them the info they needed.  Now I'm back and called them back no one answered the phone,  few times already.  I thinks they're scam so watch out, the deal they offered me was too good to be real.  Be careful!

Called himself David Clark said he and his wife wanted to buy my timeshare.  Then had his supposed finance company contact me to screw me out of 430.  Beware.
