I got 9 calls from Avalon in 2 days. They did not leave a message but continuously called. I finally answered around 2 pm. They are a financial advisory company. They called because I had signed up to recieve a free book on the Money Saving Mom website and they state that you also recieve a free financial consultation. They called continuously over 2 days and even up until almost 9 pm. I finally answered because we have flu and don't want the phone ringing. When I told her that I couldn't talk because I was sick the lady said, "oh but this only takes 2 to 3 minutes". So then I said well then I'm not interested because I'm sick. She then askede why is it that I would not want this free offer. I said, "as I told you, I'm sick and don't want to talk!" She said, "oh I'm sorry to hear that and good luck with everything."

Yes, Avalon, phoned, no message, no speak.  I phoned back, got an answer,said they were collecting for Breast Cancer Society, ask to have number removed, ask where they got information, ongoing answer as to they were given numbers by a "charity" list.  Hopefully this one will not call back.  

I really am tired of all these robo-calls and hang ups.

Id read Avalon but did not leave a message.  Never heard of them before.  Just one in a long list of annoying callers.  Ugh!

Have received several calls from this number.  Want contributions for breast cancer.  Received several calls on the same day from this number and another call from Michigan.  Can't help, remove name, will do so they say but calls keep coming.  On the Do Not Call List.  But charities (so they say) can still call you.  What a joke

Called us this a.m. about 11:30.  Didn't answer first call - only got phone number on caller ID.  Second call came instantly and after first ring, picked it up and slammed it down.  Didn't get another ring.

Called today.  ID gave this number and said, "AVALON".  I answered.  They were claiming to be from the breast cancer society and wanted to send me something for a future donation.  I sensed scam.  Told them no.  At least she was polite about it.

You have to yell "hello" twice because your telephone is dialed by a machine.  It takes a second or two before this machine can alert the next available agent that you picked up your phone and routes you to him/her to begin their spiel.

I answered and they said they were calling for a breast cancer research fund raiser and were looking for a one time donation.  I said I couldn't and they just thanked me and hung up.

Got two calls from this number, left no message on answering machine. Am on do not call list.

Called today.  It comes up on caller id as "Avalon"  all I know that the area code is in WIsconsin.

Repeated calls (one again today) after requesting to be deleted from their phone list both over the phone and in writing. Check other phone complaint websites as well - "Avalon" is no stranger to those either.

Called Today and same as Anne, come up as Avalon, they have tried calling me many times.  After about 10 rings I picked it up to see if anyone would say anything without saying a word myself.  Nothing was said so after about 30 seconds I hung up.

Called and left no message.

Numertous calls from this number...finally today I picked it up and said, "Thank you for calling Universal Phone Sex. Your call is very important to us." They hung up

recevd call at 10:58 in morning 04/14.....did not answer, they left no message.????

They were collecting for breast cancer research.   Haven't been able to determine how legitimate their effort is.

This company has called several times. I called the number back and let it ring until someone answered as "Customer Service Sparkle speaking". I asked why I have received calls from this number and told her my number was on the do not call list. She said if you receive a call from that number-it's because they are collecting for a charity. She did not say which charity, but ask me to give my number so she could remove it from their list. Because charities are exempt from the do not call list. Hope this helps.

Have received a call a day from this number for the last week.  When I answer, no one talks on their end.

They would not leave a message and called twice, but when you answer no one says a word.

"Avalon" ... has called numerous times.  However, I do not answer.
