Called - I didn't answer - they hung up by the time it went to voicemail.

A guy with a gay-sounding voice (and I am not a homophobe) asked if I was who he thought I was from a specific city in the East Bay and was I the one who threw the toga parties in the 70's. I hung up. Weird.

Just got a call from the same number. The guy called asking for my dad by name, seemed shady. Seemed like he was calling from a call center because of background noise and echoes. When I told him my dad wasn't available, the guy said he'd "send us papers in the mail"  it was weird.

Got a ca from this number just now.. Guy knew my last name and claimed they were going to be in the area for estimate on a kitchen... After I said we don't need anything done, he hung up.

Called, left no message.

Unsolicited caller claiming to be "Justin" a local contractor seeking work.  Sounds like another phone scam.  

Spoofed number.  Who would EVER hire a contractor who uses a spoofed number?

As others have stated, they have contractors that will be on your street tomorrow and can we drop by and give you an estimate for any home improvements you need to have done. When I said I would pass, he said well a lot of people say they will pass but only football players pass. Really? Then I said, my answer is no and hung up. I also heard background noise which indicates this call is coming from a call center.

Like another poster, he knew my name, asked about toga parties in the 70's, and then identified himself as a contractor. When I said I didn't need any work done, he said "every home owner has a to-do list" and wanted to know if my "problem" was that I'd just completed work, or needed work done...or didn't have any money. He was so annoying at this point that I just hung up.

Got a call from this number.  There was lots of noise in the background that sounded like a bar.  Speaker had foreign accent and said this, "I don't want to violate you, but you need to be serious."  Speaker said no more and I hung up.  Really bizarre.

A call came in from this number with Caller ID, "Name not Found."  I let it ring, and no voice mail was left.

Did not leave a message. "Name unavailable".

This number calls frequently.  Caller ID Unknown.  We're on a do not call list.

Caller identified himself as "Sidney the Great",  knew my name- asked about toga parties in the 70's?? and then identified as a contractor- when i said that i didn't need any work done, he said it was a prank call!!!  Really bizarre ......

Caller ID said "No Name Found" and we let it go to voicemail.  No messageleft.

We get calls from this number, and they hang up as soon as we answer.  That area code is several counties away in the Walnut Creek, Concord California area.

Said they were "Home Repair Group" working on any type of home repairs we may need.  Asked for the gentleman's name, he said "Thomas Johnson" however, he had an accent from another country.  There was background noise, as if he was calling from a call center.  I asked where the company was located and he told me "San Francisco".  I told him the number on my caller ID was not a San Francisco number, but an East Bay number and he seemed to be confused and flustered.  He told me that I sounded interested and did I need any home repairs?  I replied that every homeowner has repairs and could I look them up on their website.  He said they don't have a website because they find that their business is doing "just fine" without it (which sounds awfully fishy to me).  Then he said, "Well, you have my number, call me" and then hung up.

phone call from 165-9955.  Obnoxious guy who calls himself Sidney the Great and states he is a local contractor and asks what work he can do for me.  When told that we do all our own home renovation, he says to come be part of his crew.  

In my area and called to see if I needed any home renovation. Yeah right!!!

This number calling , spoke something ,couldn't understand ,hang-up

I have received many calls from this number, no recording, no person, hangs up after about 30 seconds.
