I refuse to answer non-local area code calls on my cell, and this website lets me confirm that it was a spam caller

Just got a call from this number.  I rarely answer c alls form unknown numbers and 95% of the time  after I llok them up they are sales. spam-type calls.

Just received a call from this number but I did not answer because I didn't recognize the area code. It's so annoying... I've recieved at least 13 unknown calls during the last two months.  I've been getting these calls ever since I renewed my plan with AT&T.

They called my VERY VERY early today(Sat. Morning), they didn't leave a vice mail, so,I called the number back. When I called these losers back, I get a prompt telling me that this # is disconnected. How is that possible within 30 3 seconds of their last call??  I thought perhaps it was a bogus recording??

Has anyone else experienced this when they call these degenerates back?

Yea I got got a call from 9252294253 like 10 mins ago. I actually picked up and no one said anything. When I called back it said the number was disconnected. Lames!

I just answered to this call and it was an automated voice saying that I needed to renew my warrenty and that this was the second time they had called. I do not drive so this is a bogus call and I wish they would stop calling. I called the number back 10 seconds later and there was a message saying it is diconnected.

Got the call at 11:30am today on 11/8. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. I googled the number first before even thinking of calling back. I am glad that I found this site. I never give my cell out so now I am wondering how they got the number.

got the call in the morning, called back but the number was disconnected. I heard about it before from my dad, same situation. From the comments I have read we should becareful if anyone does get to talk to anyone on the other line since they are probably trying to get personal informationt to their advantage.

I got a call at 4:52 PM today from that number and I have a Nextel.

I get the call but I didn't answer cuz I'm deaf, I never give out my phone number cuz it is of no use to someone with hearing impaired. What's worst that they email me too.
Do we have the DO NOT EMAIL registery for the type of scam? My email does not come with spam block or to block someone. Same goes as someone stole and use my screen name, and attempted to have me believe I won lottery, or I get half the money if I transfer for them. I said it b***s***. My email and screen name is my private use.

they called me simultaneously on my cell and land line...

I received a phone call from this # about half an hour ago. It woke me and I picked up but no one answered. 'They' just hung up once I said hello..

HAS ANYONE ELSE FIGURED OUT THAT MAYBE JUST MAYBE ,ITS OUR OWN CELLPHONE COMPANIES GIVING OUT OUR PHONE NUMBERS JUST TO DESTROY OUR MINUTES.
I'VE ASKED AROUND AND THE FRIENDS THAT I HAVE THAT HAVE UNLIMITED DONT GET THESE CALLS
JUST PUTTING OUT THE INFO, THATS ALL.

I've answered and who ever it is the do not say anything at all... The number is from California (City: Martinez; County: Contra Costa), but i've read through other threads that it's an auto-warranty telemarketer and other said it's a auto-warranty SCAM. So don't worry, you did not miss out on anything...

They called me at 10:55 on 4 November.  I was in a meeting, and tried to call back later, and got a recording saying the number was not in service.

Who is this? They keep calling me from this number to.... Never leave a message, and no, I have no outstanding bills either!!!!
