I'm afraid you can't make it stop. Asking them to put you on a Do Not Call list is like asking a burglar not to break into your home: They're criminals and this is what they DO, so they aren't going to stop.

First, assuming your number is listed in the Do Not Call Registry, you should report every call (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx). The FTC has very limited resources, so only the biggest offenders get tracked down and prosecuted but filing complaints increases the odds that your caller will be one that gets nabbed. (You'll occasionally see posts here saying the Do Not Call Registry is a waste of time and that you shouldn't bother filing complaints ? ignore these people; they're probably scammers trying to discourage any complaints that may help the feds nab them.)

Second, look into buying a call blocking device (or software) of some kind.

Third, your only hope of having any long term effect takes work... but it does pay off in the long run: Whenever you get one of these calls press "1" to speak to an operator and waste as much of their time as you can. Yes, it's annoying to have to go to this kind of effort because of these criminals, but it *does* pay off. After six months of doing this myself I'm down to one "card services" call every two months. They used to be almost daily.

Ann from credit card services has repeatedly called my number on multiple occasions I have pressed 1 to speak to a live operator and told them to remove me off their list to place me on the Do Not Call list! In just the past 2 days they have called 3 times each time from a new phone 504-340-8445, 631-665-8769, and 620-504-7452.....how do I make this stop!!

I practically get calls (925), Clatyon, CA almost every hour on the hour from 6 am to 9 pm (EST). See, this is why I have the ringer off, and the answering machine on. They can call all they want, I just don't pick up the phone and never bother to speak to them.

BTW-I read somewhere a good way to get rid of junk mail is to send the junk back using their own self-addressed envelope.

Although the caller ID came up as "OUT OF AREA", a google search for "HI THIS IS ANN FROM CARD SERVICES" led me here.  My robocaller seems to be the same one you folks are dealing with.

This number keeps calling only to hang up upon my answering.

I am receiving 2 to 3 calls a day from "ANN"  I have listened to the message and pressed 3 to be removed fromtheir calling me.  I'm still receiving their calls.

I have been getting these calls from Ann, Rachel and a bunch of others for over a year on my workphone...usually right when I am in the middle of doing something important. It is SO frustrating! They all seem to be from "Credit Services" and from many different numbers. My work cell where I get these calls, has been listed on the "Do not call" list all of this time. I have complained endlessly...talked to a supervisor, reported the numbers to Do Not Call...nothing ever happens. The FCC is useless...they only appear to be tools for these big companies...they don't do jack for us. We the people are simply "consumers" and are only good for one thing...giving our money away to these cretins who want to get it from us. Our government is in the bussiness of helping themselves and those who support them and to hell with us. That is becoming so painfully obvious in every facet of our scociety that I really wonder how it is that we don't have more people losing it and shooting a bunch of people or blowing themselves up in a hopeless/furious rage. The only problem is that they end up killing a bunch of inocent people instead of the ones who we'd be better off without.

I can't believe anyone still thinks these calls are the least bit legitimate. I agree with Brown. If I could meet these people in person they wouldn't be able to talk, let alone walk again........

They hang up when you tell them you are not interested only to call you back the next day.

The message is always the same from several different numbers, I have asked multiple times for them to stop calling and they call anyway.  The numbers that they have called from are:

If you go to FCC.GOV site you will find it takes you longer to complete the complaint form than it does to keep answering the calls and hanging up. I don't really expect any follow up from the FCC, its the government. There is a place for these folks that prey on people.

I have gotten 2 calls from this Ann in 30 minutes!  like everything the government does, the do not call list is a farce.  I have gotten countless calls from them, using countless numbers, i have blocked them on my phone only to have them show up using a different number.  the government do not call registry is a big farce, just like the president and the congress!  and now they are in charge of health care!  tell me how that works for you!!!! a nother farce in the making!!!!

Folks, here's what you need to do.  The robo calls are voice activated so what I do, rather than say hello, I start pressing numbers on the phone key pad in a random fashion for a good 10 seconds.  Because you are pressing numbers and NOT saying anything, you are not activating the robo call.  I understand that this may seems weird, but it works.  We have eliminated at least 95% of the calls.  Remember, just start pressing numbers on the key pad and don't say anything.  Just hang up when done.

Got a call from this number, but no one at other end.  Called back, the number is disconnected.

This company calls two times every day ranging from early morning to 10pm at night.  Caller ID says its Clayton, CA.  If you return the call you get a recorded message that says "were sorry, your call cannot be completed at this time".  I'm going to report them to donotcall.gov every day until the calls stop.

Well, in my case the guy represented Green Energy of California and offered to "lower" my energy bill by sending someone to my home address to do solar analysis, (yeah, right!). When I started to quiz him on the subject (I happened to know solar energy field) he became defensive and later abusive.

I got a call from this number- everyday but they don't leave a message which is fine with me- I will be filing a complaint with the FTC- I am on the do not call list also both my home and cell

If I only had face to face contact with this monster Ann, she would cease to exist, calling day and night.

This number keep calling and calling all hours . Leaves no message and when I answer the phone they do not answer . They hang up . I know this is a scam call . Don't these people have anything better to do . I will suggest go back to school and get some education and a life before you pick up a phone and use it the right way . You can go volunteer and help people is another way to use your time wisely .

This number is automatically blocked on my phone because Caller ID shows it as an "out of area" call.

I dicovered a way to keep them from calling.
I have cordless phone with two hand-sets. I keep both together so when a b*****d calls who is bothering me I can click BOTH handsets on and hold them up to each other "69" (ear to mouthpiece/mouthpiece to ear) which instantly creates a very loud feedback scream.

After 4 to six calls A DAY from this one a**-hole alone since October I am no longer bothered by them, all it took was doing it one time.

Clearly all of the reports to the FTC have done nothing to block calls from this number. I've received numerous calls from this number now a year later. Best thing to do is not answer. You don't want to prove to them that yours is a valid number. We've had good luck recording the 3 beeps that play when a phone is disconnected at the front of our outgoing message. Makes any robo dialer think that the number is disconnected. We just need to record this message on our new machine.

These people are losers, they are low life and just want to scam and scam. They probably just need to
get a life. In the mean time, if no one answeres these calls (check the print out on the phone) this pisses
them off.....no ticket.....no laundry. When my phone rings, no printout no answere. it's getting that having
a phone is a pain in the C***. Sometimes they leave a message but most of the time not. Some day some
one will come up with a plan to discourage this crazy way of making a living?

These people call from time to time but I never answer.
