100% commisson is only for talented and bright individuals that know what they can do when the corporate machine is off their back. If you don't know how to run with the big dogs, go to a nine to five and walk. This company is real and probably didn't want you.
Oliver Hash 2013-01-23 16:59:05 Unknown
The individual you speak of is highly respected in the intire field of Energy and anyone in Energy has at one time a career path with Enron. Enron was the genisis of deregulation.

Explain to me why this company has MAJOR high profile accounts in their portfolio if what you say is true? Honestly, has any one of you gulible adults bothered to do proper due diligence?
Genifer Windom 2013-01-23 16:51:30 Unknown
I guess you don't like sales that much.
Virginia Weeks 2013-01-23 16:50:36 Unknown
Unfortunately he has no financial benefit. Besides, how would you know.

Though I don't like that he didn't disclose it's a commission only job, there is a lot to say about being an independent contractor. Let me say up front, that I have not ever been affiliated with this company, and only found your post because I got the same letter and did a search on them. Whether you choose to do business with this, or any company, don't let the fact that it is 100% commission deter you. If you want to be self employed without all the overhead or hassle, an independent agent job is the way to go. You work as hard or little as you want, depending on how much you want/need to make and they get to put in all the time and expense in handling the administration side.
I'm only going to the trouble of sharing this with you because though there are a lot of bad MLM's out there, there are a lot of bad "jobs" out there too. Actually, if you took a job selling cars (or anything), you are technically in an MLM. (If you have a manager that makes a bonus based on your efforts, and he has a regional manager over him that gets the same, well...that's multiple layers of marketing, right?) So, don't do this business if it doesn't make sense to you, but who knows...there may be some legitimate opportunities out there that you may have missed because you scoffed at them just because they called their business what it is...Sales of any kind usually has MLM features to it.
If I didn't have cancer and need benefits as an employee of a company to actually GET insurance, I know I'd be making a whole lot more in any business where my own desire and discipline determines my pay. If insurance and benefits aren't an issue, I'd encourage you to be self employed in ANY form. Start your own business, or be an independent contractor in another. You will get paid for the value YOU bring to the marketplace, you won't have to hope an pray for a raise-you just go get one by improving your production, you set your schedule, and let's face it- the tax advantages for business owners or independent contractors are HUGE. So, keep your options open. Almost have to these days until the "job" market comes around.
Much luck and success!

The guy can be researched and it will show that he was part of Enron's Political SuperPac in order to help Bush in office as well. It was Bush that also tried to help out Enron until it was to muddy in the waters.
Total scam type of company. Based out of Houston but running scams all across the nation!

Same here. I get e-mails from them, and have gotten 2 calls from Joe something, same recorded voicemail from them (i.e. not a live caller). Some BS scam of some sort I would guess.

Person called in reference to a resume posted. They claim to be a recruiter for an energy company and claim to be hiring for a sales position. They claim to be froma company called Unified Energy. This was the message left on my vm from this number calling me. I did not speak with the person live nor did I bother to call the number back. I always have my resume posted but there isnt anything on it remotely close to experience in the energy industry...hope this info helps.

Also note that the CEO of this company worked for Enron in the "golden years"... '98 till it came to its miserable end in 2001.

Scam. Run as fast as you can. They want you to pay them $450 per month for use of some "online tools" that you know nothing about up front. Total scam. Look up their principal Kori Koepke asap. This guy looks like the classic con man. A real heel. I feel sorry for the dumb b*****ds who are actually trying to make this pig fly.

Generally, when no one answers for a few seconds, it is an automated calling device (ROBO-Caller) from a marketing company. It can take several seconds before the call is routed to a salesperson that is free to pick up the call at the call center from which the ROBO-call is made.
This phone number is used by "Humphreys Systems" and "Unified Energy"...and who knows whatever other marketing scams.
If you answer at all, always ask to be taken off their call list AND any other list maintained by their parent/umbrella company. You can also copy an AT&T.disconnect tone to your phone answereing message. It's not perfect but it makes the ROBO-Calling machine think that your phone is disconnected.
Get the tone here http://www.modemspeedtest.com/eatyourdinner.htm

Unified Energy Sales - looking for commissioned sales weenies.
wlc 2012-03-20 17:55:25 Unknown
And this is just another reason why no one should expect anything from posting your resume on line -- the only kind of "jobs" you're going to get will be ones like this.
