received 5 calls from this number in the last 24 hours.  no message, no one on the other end the times I picked up

Aug 31 2009, 4:15 CDT. Caller ID showed 9256272996. I did not answer. Left no voicemail.

got call this morning, man asked for me...said yes it's me, then hung up...called back but got msg it is non-working number!

got the same call on a business line of mine (888 number). Asked for me, asked if I worked at "Lee Software" or something of that nature (which I don't). I said no, he then apologized and hung up. I returned the call but the number was out of service. Interesting tidbit is that my name is normally not connected to my business, so it would likely have been triggered by someone having my business card, or having done extensive research.

got call from man w/ slight accent, asking if I was so-and-so.

I said "yes", then call faded like hung up.

Tried to call back, got message that number was no longer in service.

wants to talk to boss and won't leave messages.  Never will say what it is concerning

And if you call the number back (OK, so I was curious), it is disconnected

Definitely hard to understand these people.  The "lady" that called our office sounded like a 3 year old girl- seriously...She asked to speak with a guy that doesn't work with us anymore.  When she learned this, she said "ok" and hung up.  There's a delay from when you speak to when they can hear you, and an echo...maybe they are calling from another planet, lol.

Called on my cell. Male voice with accent. Unable to understand him. He stated his name was John. I said John who and he hung up. Number rings back to a non working number. Full caller ID number display but with no name.

some joker says he is from blah blah blah technology, he has my name, but I can hardly understand him.  Then he says he has the wrong number

did not answer the call.  No voicemail.

How do you report them?

This caller and a bunch of callers from California illegally obtain the mobile numbers by monitoring mobile transmission during public events. They circle the numbers around and sell to others.

DON'T answer. Report them.

caller from 925-627-2996 leaves no message.  Tried to return call -- number is "disconnected, no longer in service"
