THEY SAID IT WAS FROM FINANCIAL CRIME AND THAT I HAD NOT PAID A LOAN FROM 1 HOUR CASH ADVANCE FROM NOVEMBER 2008. I WANTED MORE INFO AND THEY COULDN'T SEND ME THE AFFADAVIT THEY HAD.TOLD THEM DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. I CALLED # BACK AND NO ANSWER. JUST RINGS.

Pretended to be a grandson calling from Canada..had a car wreck..dui and cannot leave country until damages are paid...said  will not loan any money, call Mom.
Caller hung up.

Actually, it's a VoIP call and it's not limited to telemarketers and collections.  A friend out-of-town was trying to call me using free internet service like Skype.  The service redirects the original out of state call to a local number so that it's a free call.

I received a call stating it was from financial crime. But they had my information. Home address and and name and email address. That I had taken out a loan in Nov 2008 from 1 Hour cash advance. I didn't remember doing that so I looked at my records and of course I didn't.

It was a bogus call telling me to update my credit card info.

I have no credit card!
