Answered a call from 928-662-3053, it just played music. Blocked it with *60 feature on my phone.

I recieved a call from this number also & all I heard was music but, I am wondering if by answering the phone and listening for a few seconds did that allow the calling party to capture any information ??

This is the 2nd phone call I have gotten and from 2 different numbers.. How do I make them stop. They always call while I am work and it is starting to piss me off. How do I block their numbers???

I AM NEAR TEARS! MY HUSBAND SOMEHOW GOT SCAMMED WITH THIS CRAP. I CALLED AND SAID TO CANCEL ASAP! THEY PLAYED ME A RECORDING OF HIM AGREEING TO $60 A MONTH FOR 16 MONTH AND THEN AN ADDITIONAL 44 MONTHS! THEY PROMPTED HIM TO SAY STUFF AND RECORDED HIM. THEY DIDNT PLAY ANY OF THE BEGINNING CONVERSATION. SO I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY SAID TO MAKE HIM THINK 60 A MONTH WAS A GOOD DEAL? WE CANT CANCEL THE CONTRACT WITH OUT A HUGE FEE! $264. HELLLLLP! THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY TO SUE THEM! OR ATLEAST CANCEL THIS!!

I called the company and spoke with Bob Gannon.  I explained that if I received another call from them that I would personally file a lawsuit to collect under the Georgia Do Not Call laws.  I tape recorded the call with his permission, and I will follow through with my lawsuit the minute another call from ANY of his offices in ANY of his state, from ANY of his numbers occurs.  Fortunately, for me, my husband is a lawyer.  Bob claimed that he would walk immediately into his "Customer service" area and put my number in the computer as a "do not call" number.  We'll see.  Bob's number is 954-570-7700.  This company is ACTIVE PERIODICALS.  They are currently being sued in the state of Missouri for their practice of harrassing consumers whose names are on the Do Not Call List.

Anyone who is receiving these phone calls please look at Atlanta's comment. I have kept receiving phone calls from a 828-414-4845 in which they leave voice mail's of music. This morning around 9 A.M I received a call from 928-662-3053 in which a lady answered and knew me by my first name. I asked who was calling and she stated that it was some sort of publishing company. I figured Atlanta's comment had some truth knowing they said that it was "This company's nature of business is Magazines Retail By Internet". I called the number provided and a lady answered within two rings. I stated I wanted my number removed from their calling list and that if it didn't stop I was reporting their business for harassment. She said it would be done in 24-48 hours. So we shall see. Oh and to how they received my number I'm not sure. I have a pre-paid phone and I DO NOT give it out. Online or anywhere else. Try this number. Tel: (954) 570-7700

I have received repeated phone calls from this number and they say I have won $1000 online shopping spree.  NOT TRUE.  My number is registered on the donotcall list so I am not sure how they are getting through.  I have had enough of them calling and not saying anything.  This company should be shut down for harrassment because that is all they are doing.

everytime I do answer it is either Hold music or immediate hang up. Pissin me right off!

This is who is calling you.  If you google the number that called you, you will see that this company has several different numbers (I got called from 828-414-4845 as well) and all they do it call 2-4 times a day, do not leave a message and hang up.  I have filed a complaint to the US Do Not Call Registry on my number that is active on the DNC list.

I have received 2 calls from this number, with no one saying anything on the other end. when i call it back it goes to a voicemail that is full.

They always hang up when I answer. I have tired to call back, but the voicemail is always full. No clue for whom or what they are calling for.

This is out of control. Somehow the shackles have been lifted from these bloodsuckers in May 2010. They need to be stopped.

I missed a call from this number.  It probably has something to do with entering an online contest or sweepstakes.  I would suggest going to donotcall.gov and register your phone number so that you wont receive any more telemarketing calls, after 30 days of being on the "do not call" list you shouldnt receive any more phone calls from these people, and if they still call you report them on donotcall.gov.

I'm not sure who this is, but they suck. Telemarketers + Cellphones = Pissed off consumer. IE Me! Stop calling you bloodsuckers!

i did a survey for wal-mart on line and kept getting these advertisements, i skipped over them but i have been getting weird phone calls ever since.
i retailers want us to do surveys they need to take these advertisers off their sites. i don't like getting calls on my cell number and don't know who they are.
