Same heavy accent just called here, said they were DHHS (on the Fourth of July!  A government agency calling on a federal holiday?).  Anyway,  I said, sarcastically "The Dept. of Health and Human Services is not going to call ME" and he said "Goodbye Ma'am."  

I called the number back, got a full mailbox.  What's interesting is it sounds like the posters on this site never did learn what they are after?  I presume money or account info-- maybe for the refund for surgery, an account to "deposit" the funds, perhaps?

I repeatedly called the number. They finally got mad at me and said they were going to report me. Then they blocked my number.

Nomorobo.com blocked it. Rang once and then gone.

Call from 929-250-0864 he said he was from the dept of health and human services, wanted to know if anybody in my family had cancer? I asked if he was serious, he said of course, I called him a liar and he cussed me out, accent sounded like he was from India! They think just cause were elder we're stupid I have blocked a bunch of these numbers but they keep calling from different numbers.

I am on the do not call registry but get just as many calls!  It's very aggravating and the phone company can't do a thing about it!

Got the call 7:30 in the evening from Kevin Wright US Department of Health and Human  Services out of New York City- I asked what government agency calls in the evening? He asks, did you get a bladder net or something? Next he is looking for "verification" . I said I am in the Wash DC area and I will go to the DHHS myself to "verify" this program. The room is noisy, man had heavy accent. What are these people up to? Don't get fooled, no government agency has call centers like this.......

I have been getting calls from this number for a few weeks now - they are calling my office (work) phone. Today they started off asking if I ever had surgery, when I told them no they asked if I ever had dental work done - I answered no they then asked if my homes roof ever had hail damage. I demanded to speak with a supervisor and was told "My supervisor doesn't want to talk to you" and hung up. I called back and was told "We don't want to <expletive> talk to you, don't call us" and was hung up on. I called back 4 more times until I was (supposedly) handed off to a supervisor and I told them I would report the number to the authorities for harassment. He "apologized" and hung up. Received a call 10 minutes later from them again........ Every person has a typical Indian accent, claim to speak "Perfect English" when asked if I could speak to someone fluent in English but repeatedly asked me to reword/clarify what I was saying because "Errr, I am so sorry but I do not understand what you are saying"............

Accented Male called claimed to be from US Gov Health & Human Services and want to talk about recent surgeries. I told them to stop right there and if they were really from the US HHS they would know such calls and inquires break the HIPPA Laws and unless he could recite this law and explain my rights the conversation was over. He gave me his Supervisor who I asked for the same he replied - for me to stop calling them and hung up LOL.

Received 2 calls lately from Dept of blah blah, could hardly understand this dude and he did sound like the same dude as last week. Swore at him, doubt he understood that message.

Man with heavy accent asking if anyone in my house had a hip replacement a long time ago.  When I finally understood "hip replacement" and said no, he repeated that and added ... or a trans vaginal mesh implant.  I told him I couldn't understand him and my medical company would have my address so they could mail me the information.  He then repeated the original question.  I again told him I couldn't understand him, but requested a supervisor.  He quit talking, but stayed on the line.

Got one of these calls today. Heavy accent and claimed to be with US Dept. of Health. What a joke do not fall for it.

Got the same call last night-guy with heavy Indian? accent said I qualified for compensation for surgeries. Said he was calling from Washington State. Finally, after he badgered me for information about surgeries, I laughed and told him I wouldn't give him any medical information and he politely thanked me and hung up.

I just received a call from 929-250-0864. He had a thick accent and said he was from the Dept. of Health and Human Services. He said that the dept. can help pay for surgery that my family may have had. I told him that I wasn't interested and that I have great health insurance that pays for almost everything. He said it's not insurance. It's money that will help pay for surgery. I told him "no thanks" and he just kept talking. He finally hung up when he realized I wasn't responding to him. Kind of fun to keep him on the line thinking he was talking to dead air. Idiots.

Looks like they are calling everyone. The reason for my call was about a surgery I had where they used mesh. How would they know this information? I spoke with the supervisor Mike Smith with a VERY HEAVY ACCENT. I told him I couldn't talk and he gave me this number to call him back. Has anyone reported them?

I just got a call asking me about hip replacement, i answered very general questions, same heavy accent, after 5 minutes on the phone I asked him if he wanted to know how I broken my hip, and he wanted to be oh so helpful... I explained that I had broken it after banging his mother, he said what?? I said I banged your mother, and the two of us fell off of the side of the couch...

Yes, I too got this call. I called back- got the "Lonnie Williams" . He Kept repeating DHHS  when I asked what departemtent in DHHS. Then he insisted that I got bladder sling operation. Sounds like a noisy call center with lots of people with heavy accents workin' the phones. Very abusive, argumentative pos.......do not give any info

We received 3 calls from these people in 1 hour. Very heavy accent could barely understand. They were calling about healthcare compensation. I think they are scam artists. I wish there was a way to block these calls. Annoying!!!

This number has called more than once. They call themselves Yahoo technical support, then change the name has the call from other nu nerd beginning early in the morning untie in the evening. It's clear that the national do not call list is a joke. I think a class action law suit should be filed. The harrassment is a bit much. The telephone company only offers to change the number.

I have received many calls lately,sometimes more than once a day ,for several weeks now. One is from someone claiming to be from my microsoft company and that there has been unauthorized activity. They then proceed to have me log on to my computer,go to a certain site at which time they will give me a series of numbers to enter and that will show them the info on the unauthorized use and also clear up any problems. Of course I did none of it,though they thought I was. I said I was having trouble finding the spot they wanted me to go to and got extremely agitated and finally hung up.
The other call is saying they are from the Dept. Of Health. Some begin by asking if you have had surgery in the past . Others start right off with asking how you are doing since your surgery and if there have been any complications because they can help me with that. Another asked if any foreign materials had been left inside after surgery like mesh or metals. I never talked with any of them but the common thread is getting you compensation. Sometimes the numberd they are calling from shows up as your own home phone that you are talking to them on. Very disturbing.

OMG...my dad us getting those sane cakks from an Indian man saying ge us frim NY dept if health and wAnts to talk to him about hus daughters recent surgery, saying that they could help witg my medical bills..when ny dad started questioning him he hung up..then i tried the number back for hours and disconnected.  I called our local police

Received phone call # 5 from this same number and asked to speak to the supervisor and all "Mic Martin" would say is Why??? I got mad and said that this was my 5th call from this number and that if I didn't get to speak to the Supervisor, I was going to call the police.  I used some not so nice words when he was asking if I used antidepressants while I was pregnant.  Or if I had had a surgery in the past.  I told him it was none of his Fing business and he told me that any abuse would be repprted and I hung up on him

929-250-0864 called me and hung up. I called back a couple times but got a voice mail greeting saying 111111111 was nt available.

Caller ID said call from N.Y. and speaker had very heavy foreign accent. Started asking if I've had any recent medical issues and that I might be entitled to some money.  Beware, don't give any personal information as this is some type of a scam!

I received a call today from the above number. I called them back. They told me I could receive compensation for some surgery I told them I had not had any surgery. Then they went on about some female in my family. Told them no one had any surgery. Stated okay will try again later bye. Sounds Funny to me!! they should have some record of who had the surgery.

Just got the call, same guy, says he is from Queens, NY, blah blah surgery compensation etc. I told him I want to be removed from his list and don't call here. He kept sputtering and trying to talk nonsense. I re-registered both numbers with DNC, I hope it helps -lately the calls have been non stop with the "senior issues", "free trips" ,"free gifts" and now this new one. Next time he asks if we have had any surgeries, I think I will say they took out my brain cause that is the only way I would believe this nonsense.
