This company lies.  We fell for their pitch and it has not lowered our electric bill one dollar.  Stay away from them.

Just had a visit from a young lad named James Matthews, a salesman for KRG, LLC in San Antonio using 800 I.H. 10 West #600 zip 78230.  Their phone number is 281-499-3529.  He tried to sell us Foil Shield, which must be the EKO Wrap they have been trying to sell at other cities, which also came with an EKO box that would be installed near my breakers outside to "smooth out the electronic signals in all motor-driven appliances."  He had all the props to impress and sell and even pomised electric bill savings of 39%.  The price--you got it!  $9,819 and they wanted to start work tomorrow thereby negating the 3-day cancellation agreement.  At least when I called the 281 number, someone answered to tell me they were KRG, LLC.

I'm glad I found your site to get an idea of who these knuckleheads are trying to screw over.  Thanks.

Kilowatt Reduction Group Scam-My Comments 07/06/2011

Since I posted my last warning on these pushy sales-s**ts, I have been contacted by several homeowners as well as new sales rep-trainees seeing many red flags and evasive responses to questions about financing and other issues addressed to Larry Gapko, one of the owners now operating out of temporary offices in Dallas and San Antonio. One rep. was precipitously fired for asking too many probing questions of him and sharing his concerns with fellow trainees.
I expect to be receiving hard copies of the homeowner's "Purchase Agreement" with "KRG, LLC" with an address of 800 IH 10 West, Ste 600 (??), San Antonio, Tx 78230 with a slippery 855 area code phone no....855-499-9777 to fwd to Tx Attny General Greg
Abbot, the FTC, BBB, etc, as well as sales- rep agreements, etc.

There are several co'.s using the initials KRG that have no relation to them...their KRG reportedly stands for "Kilowatt Reduction Group" , a another typically bogus name similar to the 15 others they have been using over the past year in Texas listed here under a previous posting.
All homeowners have told me that they totally IGNORE any state or federal consumer protection requirement of the 3 Day Waiting /Right of Contract Rescission (cancellation) law, and did not see this stated on their contract (which may well be illegal in itself), they push to start work within a day or two, and may be operating illegally without waiting for any local city building permits, tell them they are not needed, etc. They also blatantly refuse to abide by "Do Not Call" lists, claiming they are "not trying to sell you anything""....these are clearly what can be characterized as lying sleazeball-sales s**ts
working out of a boiler-room operation which could easily disappear overnight, if necessary; make no mistake about it.
There is a very good chance that this is just another front co. for "Go Green Marketing Solutions of Texas" whose owner/registered agent in Houston is Keith McDonald. He , along with Larry Gapko, and a .Richard  Woodall, were all part of a previous scam/boiler room operation in Florida , orig, called "One Stop Solar Heating", then "Saving America's Energy Association", and roughly 15 other similar names and carbon-copied websites since then with NO physical addresses given, NO "showrooms", etc. They called their product "Eko-Wrap", "SolaFoil", etc.
Looks like they run their financing/homeowner?s credit thru ?GEMB? (General Electric
Money Bank) for approval.

There is a business listed as "Kilowatt Reduction Group" with no phone listing in Stafford, Tx described as a "non-classified investment and holding co, counselors, consultants" Not yet sure of the connection, if any.

I receive a call everyday if not twice a day for months now from different phone numbers trying to get me to let them come to my house and do an energy audit. I know its the same company because althought they always call from a different number and call using a different name the sales speal they use is the same every day, day after day. I feel like I could be a telemarketer for there company I have heard the speal so many times but I digress... I let them send a "representative" out 3 days ago  so I could get face to face with someone and come to find out the company is based outta Longwood Florida and has several locations in Florida and has apparantley had several problems in the state of Florida including several reports on the local news in south Florida, Jacksonville, and Orlando. Also the state of Florida just recently filed a lawsuit against the company for violating the Florida no call list something we don't have here in Texas. But I think the most important thing I found out today was the company's name which is Unlimited Energy Solutions. When I googled Unlimited Energy Solutions a bunch of non realavant stuff popped up so I searched Unlimited Energy Solutions Texas and again nothing realavant but after remembering that  the representive told me that the companys headquarters was based in Florida I decided to google Unlimited Energy Solutions Florida and bam there it was in black and white...everything I have been looking for for months was staring me in the face!!!   I had thought the company calling me was a Texas based company called Go Green Marketing and I had called and spoke to the owner of Go Green Marketing 3 weeks ago at which time he invited me to there office to show me that they don't have a single employee that makes telemarketing calls and further he had said that an ex partner and now a current competitor (located in Florida) that was using his company name to differ the telemarketing heat to his company by having his telemarketers use his company name when making calls. At the time I believed all this to be a line of B.S. but time and information has proved differently.  Other names that the company supposedly has worked under included Saving Americas Energy, Florida Energy Group, Energy Group, Go Green Energy, Green Energy Now, Go Green Marketing, Save Energy Now, Florida power and light, Progress energy, and those are just the ones I was able to track down. Several of these names were used when I answered the annoying telemarketing calls and I reported them to the Texas attorney general, FTC, and the National Do Not Call List but it will do no good to report any of these names as they are not real companys that the FTC can do anything about. Report the proper company and the problem will go away! Below are a couple of links reffering to the info I found above. The state of Florida is taking action now it's time to get the great state of Texas in the fight! We will Win!

I let them come to my home and thank god I did! It is 3.50 a square foot but included with that was an eko box all my light bulbs switched to cfl custom built air transfer barriers for my 3 attic doors all my outlets were insulated my water heater wrapped and a solar panel! Plus a 35% guaranteed savings on my energy bill or they pay the difference! Couldn't find a better deal no mater where I looked.

The product is called ecko Wrap and the contracted company is Kilowatt reduction group,  they have offices in houston, florida and dallas....although there product is on the high end, they offer financing so thus its alot more expensive,  but i guess its a good deal for someone who does not have upfront money to pay for it outright.  Not sure about the appointments they mainly tell residents that they will do an energy audit in which they wont have to pay anything...not necessarily true but its get them in the door so they can do an audit and then do a 1-2hr demonstration on why you should buy their product.  there is no showroom floor, but in the sales pitch they say several things just to justify that the price you are paying is a great deal!!  again,  i guess its not a bad deal, but you can definatly save way more money by going through another company that does radiant barriers if you can pay for it up front....example:  their price per/sq ft is about $3.5 and ive seen many other companies charge less the $1   so the rebates they tell you u will be getting are not as good as they seem  but then again thats sales!!

Actually these guys called us a few times and we were skeptical also, but after hearing about the package and personally going to another customers home that they installed the same package in my neighborhood, we bought the package and have been saving money.  Our bill in July was almost $200 lower than in last July.  We are very happy with the results so far.

Call constantly and we're on DNC as well.  I'm not all that upset that they are violating the law, I have AT&T Uuverse so I decided to go in a block their call.  If this same group gets around that I can show the FTC the steps taken to stop them.  They're more interested in complaints that show the consumer has taken progressive steps to stop the activity (rather than simply report alone).

Called twice, back-to-back.  Guess they didn't like rolling to voice mail the first time.  After the second call I came here to check the number...  wasn't surprised to see it listed.  Of course I am on the DNC list as well.  Have been since it came out, and yet this kind of junk still happens.  Not that I expected the DNC to solve any thing -- it is like gun laws, which only apply to already law abiding citizens...

Thank you for the information!!!  They called me yesterday and I told them they could come by tonight......then last night I started thinking.....I shouldn't let someone that called me out of the blue come to my home.  I live alone and who knows who they really are.  Getting your info. helped me and when I tried to email and call them to tell them not to come by, I couldn't get hold of anyone.....I was able to leave a message on the phone number you gave......I think i'll just put a note at the door and tell them I couldn't make the meeting and I couldn't find anyone to tell that I was canceling.

Thanks for all your help!!!!
