6-20 @3:37pm guy says "hello, hello, can you hear me" I said what do you want, he said, "There's a bad echo, I'll call you back". I said, "NO, DON'T CALL ME BACK!".(I called the number back, first time recording said it was not a working number, second call said I must dial a "1" before dialing the number. "SPOOFING", which is a FEDERAL CRIME???
6-21 @12:59pm I answered, "I'd like to speak with the person that pays DP&L...". I asked who she was. She said, "Renesha(?) from "BORDER ENERGY". I cut her off told her that I have told you losers time after time to STOP CALLING this number!". She got rude, talking over me, saying things about my mother and the way I was raised...
Since TELLING these idiots to STOP CALLING won't/doesn't work, maybe a visit to their "offices" in BELLFONTAINE/POWELL, OHIO will.

This guy won't quit.  He has called me several times with the same spiel about being DP&L and wanting to talk to the person who pays the Dayton Power & Light Co. bill.  My area is not served by DP&L and they would know that.  This is a scam call. I also doubt that DP&L would be using a cell phone.

Got a call from this number at 4:59 p.m. today, 5/3/2012. A man, who would not identify himself by name or by company, asked to speak with the person who pays the DP&L bill. When I wouldn't say who pays the DP&L bill and didn't provide any information, this guy became rude and I told him so. Then I hung up. My phone number is on the the Do Not Call list, and this jerk was clearly calling for some telemarketing scam deal. How annyoying!

I JUST GOT THE CALL, IT WAS FROM A GUY TRYING TO GET ME TO GIVE HIM MY INFO WANTING ME TO CHANGE ELECTRIC CARRIERS,,,,,     NO I DID NOT GIVE HIM INFO.
MY QUESTION IS WHY WOULD SOMEONE FROM A COMPANY CALL YOU FOM A CELL PHONE.....   HUMMM     NUMBER IS FROM BELLFONTAINE OHIO   AND CARRIER IS Cingular Wireless

3-16, 1st verified call, hang up on machine.

3-26, I answered, "yea, I'd like to talk with who pays the DP&L bill". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
I asked who he was calling for, he said, "I'm calling for who pays the DP&L bill".
I asked what company he was calling for, "BORDER ENERGY", was his reply.
I told him we werent interested, and hung up.
4-5, I answered, hung up on me.

They call every day or two but today a male voice left a message on my answering machine
"F*** , You deleted all my s***. "  
How Nice!!!   Someone needs to shut this crazy person down.

I just installed my phone on Fri and today is tues and this number called it twice but answering machine picked it up.I have a caption phone and it prints out everything on a message but there was nothing printed out. I am deaf and can't tell if there was any other noises in the back ground. But im curious how this person got my new number this fast. ODD!

This number continues to call my home and my cell and never talks, never leaves a message.

Caller called again today.  Was quiet on their end & then I heard a beep something like a fax machine, then a computer generized recording came on & said "good-bye."

Got a bill from Verizon for 251 min to 937-210-9997 MARCH 13 did not make this call how can that happen... Thank you Verizon for your help

Received a call from him today. He was kind of abrupt. He asked if I take care of my DP&L bill. He did not actually say he was from DP&L, but it was implied.  He hung up on me when I told him that my husband takes care of that bill. In Ohio we can now have a different electric company from DP&L supply the electric on DP&L lines. We still have a DP&L line fee, but now the electric is supplied by someone else. This is done at a huge cost savings to us. We went with a company that gives a percentage of funds back to our community.

Got a call today.  They stated the were calling from Border Energy Electric Services, Inc. I stated wasn't interested

Called at 3:31 p.m. . Didn't leave a message, but as I read your posts, I wanted to add that I have never had DP&L for any services.in my 40 years of paying bills.  So, BEWARE!  It Must be a scam.

Called at 3:48 pm, asked for the person who pays the DP&L bill...told him they weren't available and he said he would call back later.  Totally weird and creepy.

Caller hung up on me after I actually answered the phone.
Now I'm reporting the phone number.

Caller didn't leave message.  Reporting caller as I'm on the do not call list.

I got ahold of someone and complained of them calling.  They said they are IS and had my name since I was a DP&L customer and entitled to a rate reduction.  I told them I was on the National Do Not Call List and they said they would take my number off their list provided by DP&L.

Got a phone call at 10:30 am, answering machine picked it up.  Heard breathing but no message.

woke me up asked for dp&l owner gave em name didnt feel right seemed unprofessional n odd woke up a lil realized dont use dp&l in my area called nuymber baCK without ext no one answeres tried a random extension # got machine wondering if dp&l is being put in that name now

Wanted to know if I was the one paying the electric bill in this house. So I asked him (Sean) if he was with the electric company, and he just asked "what?" then he hung up.

when answered, background noise talking,,  many people.  No conversation....

Have  no idea who this is. When I picked up, I caught the tail-end of a recorded message (female voice) that said "You have now been evicted (?) from this conference". Odd language use and I won't lose any sleep over it.
