A lady from this number called today asking to speak to the owner. When I told her that she was unavailable and asked if I could assist, she said she'd call back. Called 1-800-594-6135 as another poster had suggested to be taken off the list, and it seems to have worked. You have to call from the number you want removed, and it has to be a number that a caller ID can recognize. Once the system verifies your number, press 1 to confirm, and the recording says it'll be taken off their list (give them a few days, but they don't guarantee other companies will stop calling). The end made me laugh, though it's also a bit discouraging: "Goodbye for now."

They say they are the Committee for Missing Children, However CMC is in Lawrenceville, GA and these calls are comming from Bartonville, TX.  I had to reaaly press to get any information from these people then they wouldn't take no for an answer when it came to the donation, I finally had to hang up on the guy.  They do have a "Do Not Call"  option but you have to call 800-594-6135 to request it and it's thru an automated menu so I don't know if it will take.

I get a call from these people everyday and they hang up on me when i try to find out more information
