Left nothing on the answering machine.

I get the same call every couple of days and from a similar but different number each time.  I believe it is one of the big air conditioning companies in town probably Unique Air.  They are trying to convince us to use tax credits to buy a reduced price air conditioner.  Set up an appointment and see who shows up. I save the number as a contact each time and call it junk1, junk2, etc.  Never has been same number.  My list is:

I also just registered all my cell phone and home phone numbers with donotcall.com.  Takes some time though it said.  The home phone numbers are annoying enough but to use the cell phone minutes and interrupt me at work on my cell really pisses me off.

Received another call for this number, this time they did leave a lengthy message, stating  I was referred by a friend or family member for a free energy audit, I had till 9:30pm to call an 800# to schedule my all ready paid energy audit.,    I do not know how to block this number....

Received a call from this number Thursday, didnt reconize, so didnt answer, and they did not leave a message.

Tell me where it is please??

And according to the state's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at least one known company has been ignoring the state's Do Not Call list and phoning FPL customers to offer energy audits that often turn out to be just a foot in the door for a major sales push. That company ? known by such names as Solar First LLC, and Florida Energy Assessment Group ? may not be posing as an FPL affiliate, but a judge is in the process of fining the company and ordering it to stop violating the state's Do Not Call list law.

This is a scam telephone number and is being investigated by the FEDS.  It is now blocked from my wireless phone. It is in Sarasota, I know where it is because I drove by the address listed for the phone number.  It is a wireless phone number and a scumbag scammer;  and I have forwarded the number to the FEDS.  They'll probably disconnect it and inititate an investigation on it.  These are foreigners, eastern Europeans or Indians and all need to write the FTC in regard to this number.
