A obvious scammer, had a little fun with him. got a recording of half the call. he would rush through the company name when i asked, so i wouldnt hear. I kept pissing him off, until he asked if i was a "human being". I replied "no, im not a human, im a alien. Better yet, im a Pumpkin!" he said "yeah! you're more than a pumpkin" then i cut him off saying "I AM more than a pumpkin, im TWO PUMPKINS". then he said he was recording the call and was going to report me to the FBI. Also another thing that pisses him off, is when he says "E-for eduard N- for nancy..." say "B- for b***s***" he will get mad and ask what you meant. have some fun with him, give him some hope that you are following through, and say "my cpu turned off, let me put you on hold" then pick up 20 mins later and let him continue and then say "my laptop battery died" and waist a few of his hours. GOOD LUCK! HAVE FUN :)

Just got three calls from this number and when I didn't answer the 4th time they threatened that I must take the call or they would call all times of the night.  Southwestern Washington State.

The caller claimed to be from the website Wizard 101.   He had a very thick accent.  He wanted me to get on my computer and follow some steps so he could prevent me from getting unwanted spam from the website Wizard 101.  I hung up!!

Guy with Indian accent called me this evening. Started talking about my computer, I put the phone down until he hung up. Anyone else tired of this crap????

A man with a thick accent walked me through a Windows Event Viewer exercise.  He pointed out that all the errors and warnings are because I downloaded some virus and my computer is now downloading too much from the Web.  I played along until he wanted to get me to one of his "technicians."  At that point I hung up, figuring that I wasted enough of my time and just a little of his time.  For that 5 minutes he wasn't calling someone who didn't know any better.

A man with a very heavy accent called asking if I had a computer.  I told him I don't know who he is & it was none of his business.  He started asking if Obama deserved to win the election.  I told him to stop calling my #.  He then started making sexual remarks.  I told him to stop calling again & hung up.  He just kept calling my phone.  I finally had to take it off the hook.  I could hear in the background on one of the calls that there were several men making the same type of call.

They are now calling saying you have won an electronic gift card and need your information.  I asked them not to call back, they did 8 times the same day.  Said some very inappropriate things to me before I hung up.

Just got a call form this number at 9pm PST!  Late (for me).  Just was a hang up.  I sounded cranky and pissed that a random was calling me so I said hello in a rude way...  they just hung up.  Maybe sounding annoyed is the right way to go : )

thought this was a friend as it was a 949 cell phone number, but turned out to be a cell phone caller, as the rest of you, wanting my laptop information as it has been infected by a virus, this was a heavy indian accent female. I told her that I don't have a laptop, she hung up on me. Number was 949-210-9072, called ID says cell phone

call was a woman with an accent, maybe Indian.  Asked if I was at the controls of my computer and something about pc wizard.  I said "I think you are trying to break into my computer" and hung up.

moron speaking in broken english called about my computer but he didn't know if I had a computer or what type of computer. He was just phishing for information.

I read in the newspaper there is a telephone scam being perpetrated to get access to your computer but they didn't list the phone number.

got a call said he was from pc opptimizer and i needed to get to my computer. i knew it was a scam so i followed along. said he needed to check for viruses. asked me if i knew what the ctrl button was like i was an idiot. then told me click win and r to run his program. just hang up if the call. or mess with him. he gets angry. lol

Called my cell at 1pm on 10-2-12.   Didn't even answer because I recognized it as a scam number.

If it is the same Indian guy who just called me, I'm surprised you understood that much!  Definitely a scam.

The same Indian-style speaker just called with a "windows problem" and he's found a virus on my computer. Such a scam - don't give him anything!

I got this call and it is a guy with very heavy Indian accent. I barely understand what he said but basically he said about some websites that I had visit that is not secure and someone can access my info. He asked me to go in front of computer but I was walking so I told him I am outside. He called me back again but I let my husband talked to him. He tried to get my husband on the computer but my husband said he has only iPad so that guy just hung up.

This number called me too saying that I was recieving the call because I have a windows operating system...the second I said that I didn't because I use a Mac he hung up. Definetly a scam

Pretending to be MS employee, calling from Orange County #. LOL

"Allen Parker" called me (from Orange County area code) with Indian accent, referred me to Andy (also with Indian accent) to fix the error on my computer. I asked how he knew that my comp is affected, he answered because they're Microsoft employees, and all Windows in my area are affected. Cheap scam.

Missed call from 949-210-9072.No message left but weird background noise. I sure wish they would stop calling me. I already placed all my phone numbers on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

This wouldn't happen twice if I knew who it was. Does anybody know of any criminal complaint report that can be filed agains a phone number?

they called my house phone and no one was on the other line, tried to call back and said that the number was not in service

I do not answer calls if I don't recognize the number or caller ID. I checked our voice mail but no one said anything on it. Not calling the number back. They give up eventually if you don't answer the phone.

Indian guy called today, told me that I had viruses, detected from their "systems". I knew right away it was a joke, so I played along. He told me to open up my Windows Event Viewer, and asked me if I saw any errors. Windows Event Viewer had errors, which is expected because none of them were serious, or even errors at all. But to the average user, it looks convincing. But I continued to play along, where he told me to download some antivirus. I pretended to download the antivirus, and then proceed to yell things like "Nice try mother******", and "Nice try you ****ing scumbag", until he hung up. :) Dont fall for this crap guys.

That same guy called me 30 minutes ago, and what he didn't know was that I don't have a laptop or computer and that I only had a phone. Told him to never call me again. I have a feeling he will though, but ill be ready this time.

I have been getting calls over the last few days from an indian guy saying he is from pc wizard, and that i need to go on my event log and follow his instructions, he also says i have someone watching what i am browseing on the internet and that my whole area is affected i fobbed them off checked on google and found it to be a scam, the number they have called from is 0442082110648, they have called back since even though i told them i have reported them , does anyone know who i should report this to, if these people call you do not give them any imformation and hang up.

Told these idiots not to call me again on 9/12/12...on do not call list and want to be removed from their list! If they call aain I will report them. So what do they do call again 5 minutes ago. Try to call back the number isn't in service!!!! Reporting them now!
