I got a call...  Went to VM, message has nothing but background sounds of call center...  Didn't they call them boiler rooms in the past...

I got a call from them and they left a voicemail with call center noise in the background. They want me to renew my subscription to a trade magazine.

Has called my direct work number a lot over the past week. Until today, no one was there when I answered.  Today when I answered, it was someone from Investment Advisors and they asked for me directly and wanted to confirm information to continue a free subscription.  I told them to cancel it and hung up.

if you stay on the line they will suddenly appear after a few seconds... must have a machine making multiple calls and transfer to person when it reaches someone.  they are rude and trying to lock in some BS subscription and info.

Received/missed two calls - did not leave a voice mail. I answered on the third call but no one was on the line. I called the number and received a recording regarding trade journal renewal. You can select "8" to have your number removed from their call list.

Pick up the phone but no answer

This number keeps calling and it only rings once or twice then they hang up? REALLY annoying.. every day

This number calls our business at least 4-5 times a day.  Never anyone on the other end of the line.

I recently returned from visiting San Juan Capistrano and Del Mar, CA about a month ago.  For the past few days I have been receiving numerous calls such as those you decribed.  The number calling is 949-272-9626.  Has it stopped for you?

The same thing has been happening in my office. This number calls a few times a week, and no matter how quickly I pick up no one is ever on the line. It disconnects as soon as I answer.  Ever find out what it is, Irvine Resident?

I was getting calls every day and being hung up on when I answered....ANNOYING! Just call the number and ask to have your number removed. They are trying to renew subscriptions and want to update your information but instead just insist you be removed and the calls will stop.

This number has been calling me 3-4 times per day for the past several days. There is nobody on the line if I answer. If I don't answer, they leave just enough time for my answering machine to pick it up leaving an annoying single beep. Caller ID shows San Juan Capistrano

Supposedly its Financial Planning Magazine calling about a free subscrption. I don't think they are really 949 either, but they just call to confirm the address and contact infor for someone who is probably already receiving the magazing.

949 272 9626 has called us seven or eight times over the past month, but never responds when we answer the call!!!!
Note: not sure this is really a 949 number as our caller id will sometimes display the number without an area code
