he threated me about 3 lawsuits too,i refused to verify my info, i am reporting them to the police now. should i freeze my account? i did a reverse phone lookup and found the company

Same story as everyone else here! The Indian guy called my job telling me that I had 3 charges against me and a lawsuit would be filed. He kept asking me for my attorney's information and I told him to shove it up his a*#! I am seeing that they may be getting people's info via payday loan applications, but I have NEVER taken out a payday loan! He tried to get me to verify my social, which he already had the last four digits of?!? Where are they getting this information from??? Luckily, I work for a bank so I am highly trained in detecting Identity Theft and Fraud. The Indian guy went by the name of Travis Walker, which I found ironic because he could barely speak english. He told me that I HAD to contact this Damon Marshall guy immediately and I told him I don't have time for his B.S. and he hung up on me. This is crazy! I know for a fact that I am not in any kind of trouble nor do I owe anyone any money! How can we make these calls stop? Thinking of changing my number just to stop hearing the phone ring...

Yes I received two calls from a man with an Indian accent said I had 3 law suits with my SS# and I need to call him back immediately. I know it is a scam and when you call the number it goes into a voicemail with no message of a person or company.  These people should be traced and locked-up by the authorities who have already received former complaints.

We all need to stand to contact our Attorney General in our states and notify them of this mistreatment.Also if necessary we need to find these people and file a class action lawsuit.Just by chance I have a attorney out that way cali doing a class action for me in PA over Emergency room overcharges.These are his types of cases he likes to deal with.Email me if you have too at waynekern@gmail.com.

I just got a phone call from Michael Johnson asking me to call Damon Marshall, because I been sued for not paying a loan of $1500.00. I told them that I was calling the police and give them their telephone number and names because I did not own them a pennny. He became upset and insulting me with the worst words in the

These people are relentless. They left a message yesterday and when i called back I got a machine. Some guy just called me at 7am stating they are from the California State attorneys office and there is a lawsuit against me. They need my lawyers info and I am being sued about a payday loan i just got so i knew it was crap. I tried to explain that t couldn't be me. He told me to shut my mouth and he will call me later and hung up.wth

I got a call from this number today, it was a indian guy claiming to be an attorney. He said his name was Damon Marshall..he said he needed my attorneys info and I had 3 lawsuits against me. I told him I was not giving him any info and it sounded like a scam, he told me I was on my own then and hung up,lol..

This same crap happened to me,but when I told them I was a state officer they had the nerve to say if I was an officer then I should know the law.they called from 951-468-5357 and told me to contact Damon Marshall  at 951-281-0349.Just so you know my 2011 tax return revealed that I was a victim of Identity theft.So I told the raggedy english talking gentleman that I could have my lawyer contact them ASAP.I gave the information to my chief and they called back instantly (my Chief/Lawyer). When he finished with them they had a case # from my department and he tol dthem he would be forwarding the information to the IRS. I HAVENT HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN......YET. Yep I flipped the script. :-)

I did the same, last week. Attempted to get a pay day loan; HOWEVER, when you input your information it sends you from one site, to another site, to another site. And only from that initial submission can SO MANY other HOAXSTERS get your personal information.

Got the same calls, First u talk to some guy who you can barley understand says you need to call this number and speak to an officer from the state attorney's office. This guys name was Damon Marshall, said I was going to be picked up from work by the local sherfiff's department and taken to jail for 6 months. We looked up the number online and it this a scam. We called our local law enforcement and reported it to them and they are taking care of the situation.

I am getting these too! Said they were from State's attorneys office. It was so garbled barely english.
How do I go about reporting them??

Look a man with indian accent said he has my ss number and bank info and employer number he actually had the gull to read it back to me, I immediately put a freeze on all my credit and bank information. he says that i have 3 outstanding debts and that i am going to jail. wrong he is going to go to jail i made a police report on him. i saved his number and guess what you will not be getting away with this i will hunt you down and put you in jail. I dont know how these people get away with this scam. i say go get a job stop ripping off people who work hard for there money shame on you.... all i have to say to mr india man is im on top off your scam artist and wait for a call from the police yourself.... oh yeah he says he is a para legal and to call another number and speak to another man, yeah ok not even original ......

Says that he is state investigator named Jack Russell it is a scam i did not take out a payday loan there is also a female jessica that calls sometimes at 11:30 pm eastern time he also called once before given a different name and said that he was a Sherriffs Deputy he hung up when he found out that i was a state officer further more this same number and same individuals had called me prior making me offers just another way for them to get your money and this is a hobbist number meaning SCAM

Same Here. They calledmy job too. I blocked their other number. They are a scam don't worry about them. BLock them and report them to the Department of Corporations. If they still keep bothering you. Call the police. They will stop

I had several missed calls from this number they never leave a message so i called it back and they are trying to tell me I owe a debt that I have nothing to do with and they the sheriff is coming to arrest me.  How do these people get away with it?

i have received calls from this number everyday for over a week, sometimes more than once a day. the man, who i can barely understand, even calls as early as 7am. no matter how many times i tell him to remove me from the calling list yet i still received calls. when i tell him to put a supervisor on he hangs up. at what points is this harassment because i believe we have reached that point.

they call me at work telling me that i was going to jail for 6 month unless i pay i debt with this fastcash company. it was like indian accent in the other side of the line. i already report to ic3 support by the FBI field in north miami beach florida

I called my states atterney's office since that is where she said she was from and they have never heard of anyone by that name working there

I just got a call from these people asking for my atterneys info and i could not understand much of what she was saying except to call this damon marshall back so i did he told me unless i send the money i own then in 1 hr they will send the sheriff to arrest me at my job and put me in jail for six months i can not believe this it is crazy and the guy kept being rude to me and hanging up on me what atterney does that ? and if they are just a bill collector, is it not against the law to lie about who they are ?

Same thing happen to me as well. Telling me to ask for Micheal Johnson. I also had the same people call from another number 1-888-481-1547 told me to ask for Martin Claim, I can tell they are the same person or people cause the messages left are exactly the same just different numbers. Different names and when I call they are always changing their voices but I know its them. At first I was scared cause I thought they knew of an loan that I opened up online. But then when they started telling me that I'm not paying then I knew right away that it was a lie as I have been paying. And because I check my account all the time I knew for a fact I had no money deposited in my bank account. After telling them this they stated that it was a prepaid credit card. They also couldn't give me names numbers amounts just threatening me about being arrested losing my job etc. I took matters into my own hands and started harassing them. I kept calling and demanding information,  The Martin Claim directed me to an Austin white because he was the manger there I went on and on. calling and calling for infor. Austin white finally told me that all charges was dropped on me and I would no longer receive calls. I asked for paperwork of this and he hung up. No one called for 3 weeks until this morning. Now same related matter as the first but different name and number. How can we stop these calls?

Calling my place of work for a problem with my social security number, complete identity theft. This matter has been reported to the police. I have already called my attorney who loves to go after people like this!

EXACTLY the same as Jennifer.  I never called the number, says they are calling from LA and I know that is not prefix for LA.   Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to try to get a payday loan.  NEVER AGAIN!!!!

same happnd to me at 1 30 today told me i was going to be arrested at my job monday morning if i didnt comply with him. i have called the police dept and contacted a lawyer im not playing around with this leagal action is in process i tracked down the number and its from corona california from pacwest telcom

Same here. This guy calls and tells me that i have 3 counts of criminal activity on my name. Thats bullcrap i told him. He wanted me to verify a social security number that he had and i told him that it wasn't mine. After going round and round it actually became funny and i started having fun with it. Don't believe these people. They are scammers trying to get identity theft info. Like i am to believe that if i were truly a criminal they woukd call me on a phone and tell me???? LOL!!! Thats a joke!!!!

I am receiving threatening phone calls by this person.  I want them to stop. :(
