they also call me everyday tell me i am going jail i have an law -suit against my name if i didn't send money i was going behind bars they calling my job. saying this nathon brown call me at 607-795-7354 then i get a call at this  number  he was a lawyer at watkins & associates   from 951-389-0292

I received a call today on my cell phone......couldn't even understand this idiot.....i called back this evening to tell them not to call me again ....that the FBI amnd attorney general's ofc were taping my calls and that they are going to be located and their scam will be shot down

I have been receiving these calls from different names or people for the past week or so.  I finally decided to call the morons back and he claimed his paralegal was out of the office for the day.  I told him to hold on because I had the police here and they wanted to talk to him about the harassing scam calls.  He said I will never call this number again and you never call my number again.  I asked him if he didn't like being harassed and he said no.  I have called him back 25+ times and he just hangs up.

I keep getting the same calls over and over I cant even begin to tell you how many times, a few days ago it was at least 30 missed calls from this number (951) 389-0292 , he claims his name is Steven Scott , now I have someone calling me from a local number saying the same crap!! Funny how the voice mails they leave are all the same , I have a lawsuit against me , I am going to go to jail ,I need to call or my lawyer does and if I ignore the matter they wish me the best of luck. One of the voice mails even sounded physically threatening.  I will be taking the advice of one of the other posters and advising the douche I am actually with an officer and they would like to talk to the "paralegal"

My daughter has gotten calls from this number and a different one last week. She is only 20 so really freaked out about it.  Her bank acct had been compromised the week before the phone call started and they had the last 4 of her SSN and her employer. Don't know if these people have managed to hack into her account.  She has reported the last call to the police and as a precaution notified the FTC, all 3 credit bureaus and her bank. Trying to protect her identity and sanity.

The idiot messed up. I got a call at work. I alerted the FTC and my Federal agency.

I know how he gets phone numbers, You guys have failed to say that you applied for a payday loan and that is how he gets your information. first hundreds of loan companies call or email. and these people are posing as loan companies to get your info. every one that called sounded like the same person african or something. one called said he would help me pay back my loan that i never even got. so do not applyfor a loan

I recieved the same message as all of you on my cell phone over the weekend. He called himself "Sean Marshall" - Paralegal to a "Ronnie Cooper"  .. He said I has 3 terminal legislative and business allegations against me and not to ignore the call and return the call to their office before they filed suit in my county in Ohio against for God knows what (he did not say what I did on the phone - but did have my name, phone numbers and ss #). His english was broken and spoke as if he were middle eastern - he also did not speak in a professional manner that attorneys and their assistants do. I was still scared though because even though I smelled a rat these people had my information and panicked thinking they could access my bank account.  I called them this am and we got into a terrible argument. They made up some story that I owed money and if I didn't pay it right now - they would have the "cops" at my door. When I said I was reporting them to the BBB -- he hung up on me. Mind you .. The man claiming to me Sean Marshall answered the phone as "Ronnie Cooper". I did call the BBB and there is a warning out & this is a scam. In my area it will be on the news today so some unsuspecting elderly person or otherwise doesn't panic and pays them the money they are demanding. WE DON'T OWE THEM MONEY. They are just trying to make us think we do. If all of call and complain to the BBB with the phone number they can put out the warnings in your area to. The number to the BBB is 800 743 4222 & the number I'm reporting is 1 951 389 0292 (they called themselves attornies representing a "pay day cash america" <- I have no idea what this is .. I don't use pay day loans. I wish all of you the best of luck. Don't get scared .. Get mad! Don't pay anything and report these idiots! There are hundreds of calls going into the BBB each week on this scam!

I have recived a call from  (915)389-0292 this morning being notified I was being sued for a payday loan I never got wonder scratch that people this number is very much a scam and its fraud they represent real company's but have no real connection with the please do not send anything to these people they should be considered paper terrorists...... 7-28-2012

As early as possible it's critical to determine if your collector is domestic or yet another South Asian faker. The former you can sue into submission; the latter tend to be out of reach.

I just got a call from there but they asked for my husband. I told them I was his wife. He then preceeded to tell me that he wanted to have sex with me. I said excuse me?? He said you heard me. I want put my p**is in you a**. I want to make you scream and I want you to suck my c*ck. I told him he can't talk to me like that. He kept going so I immediately hung up. He has now called me nonstop. Idk how to get him to stop and he's disgusting. What the heck is this???

This guy called me at 7:32 on a Sunday morning. Knowing by the number it had to be a sales call of some sort I didn't answer. He called 2 more times and said through his very strong Indian accent that his name was "Jack Davis" and I needed to settle things with him or get a lawyer.  I laughed at him and hung up. He called back a few more times and held the phone up to my screaming/crying 2 year old and he stopped. This is a SCAM!!! Do NOT deal with this slimey b*****d!! BEWARE!!!!

yes i just received a phone call on july 27th, 2012 from this same number from a man i couldnt understand i told him i was returning a message left for me he ask my name once i gave it to him he proceed to tell me he was a lawyer calling because i was being sued for a payday loan which i did apply for but got denied so i never got the money said that i had to pay him 500.00  if not he was sending the police to my job to arrest me, so i asked him how could i take care of this matter with the problem he said that i could pay the money and everything would be ok. so i then ask him if i could pay by credit card over the phone he yelled to me NOOOOO you have to get cash out the atm go to safeway either western union him the money for buy a money pak card and send it to him that way. that right there didnt sound to right to me so i goggled the telephone number and it came up to  a number in CA and then i seen all these comments about how the samething happen to all these ppl in the sameway it happened to me, he also gave me another number to call just incase we got disconnected i also goggled that number and it came up as a landline phone. i dont know whats going on, this had me really scared becuase i have two kids that im thinking about. How did you handle this situation i need help to take care of this matter.

He said that i had to pay 500.00 today if i didnt that he was sending the police to my job to lock me up and if that happened i would have to pay more money, i ask him how am i being sued for money i never received he told me that he wasnt going to argue with me which i wasnt doing just asking him a question. he then told me that if i paid the 500.00 dollars i wouldnt have to worry about the arrest, so  to avoid this matter i asked him how would i be able to take care of this and if i could pay him by credit card over the phone he told me no it had to be casj, told me to get the cash out the atm go to a safeway no where else take an additional 10.00 with me i could either western union the money to some number he was going to give me or i could buy a money pak card and pay that way. he also stayed on the phone with me for a hour said to let him know when i got to the safeway and he would tell me what to do from there. plz somebody tell  me if these ppl are real because it has me really scared i have two kids living on my owe and i dont want nothing to happen to me and my kids are here and they see something happening to their mom. i have been reading the other comments and it seems to be a scam but i still not sure so if anyone read my comment can you plz let me know if this is really a scam because this situation really has me scared. i have never been threw something like this in my life or have i been sued. He also told me that if we got disconnected to call him back on this number 415-329-6010 which i goggled and it came up to be a landline phone located in CA.

I have also recieved a phone call from this same number 951-309-0292.  The first time they called I answered but could not understand a word that the guy was saying so I hung up.  Then they called again and left a voicemail saying that me or my attorney need to call back.  I called back and there was no answer.  I am changing my phone number immediately.

I got this call today about 15 times.  He told my fiance that I owed $600 for a loan from Cash Advance America.  I called about fifty times just to get a beep to leave a message.  I finaly got in contact with someone who could not tell me the date of the loan because he said it was irrelavant and he hung up.  I called back five times just to get hung up on every time.  I tried one last time and got the same man I talked to previously.  I asked him wear to send the money and he would not tell me unless I took a picture of the money and send it to deanjones.acc@gmail.com.  Then I knew it was a scam then.  He called me a dumb a** and said that I could talk to the FBI in the morning when they picked me up.  How crazy is that?!!

I got a message from my job today to call Scott @ 951 389 0292. I called and he told me he was calling in regards to me having two cases. I told him I didnt have two cases. I hung up. He called back and told me I would be arrest at my job and he even said my job name. Scary. He said he had my as # but he never said it to me!!

I received a call from Ronnie telling me the same thing and he had my social and employers info. I do not know if he has my checking information. I hope not. Have any of you who received a call from Ronnie had money taken out of your account?

I am assuming based on all the postings he may have our information but not our full account numbers. Thats why they want us to goto Western Union so badly.

well here you go..this guy keeps calling my cell phone telling me my son is in serious trouble and has committed a felony. has papers on his desk and needs money to pay this off...CUTE RIGHT.
first off if my son was that dumb to do something that stupid he would not give anyone my numbers, second the police would have him waiting for a court date sitting in jail not some idiot asking for a pay off.. How dumb does this guy think we are..and yes he has a heavy accent too.

This number has called multiple times the last 2 days.  They speak with a heavy accent and left only 2 messages.  You can barely understand what he is saying. The person identifed himself as Alex Cruz.  

Wanting to call him back or my attorney.  It burns me up that they call literally all day and most of the night.
