city view cash, red river, and payday loan yes are fake payday loans office basically. i had this problem and i contacted my state attourney general office and basically your loan does not exist. stop paying them and if someone calls to collect then tell them that you want a break down in writting of what you owe them and if they are legit and licensed then you will get it but if they are not then you do not have to pay them. my testimony is just like everyone elses that you read about except i did my homework after i was scamed out of a little over 1500 dollars. dont make the same mistakes i did. tell them where they can shove there aledged bill.

I received a call on July 7th from Financial Accountability Law Firm, and have run into this before about a month and a half ago with them using a different number and company name.  They all have the same accent when speaking and have the same verbatum when leaving a message.  What I did was file a complaint with the FTC back in May on the first call.  When they called this time I had an lawyer friend speak with them and they refused to give any info, and when they were questioned to verify the debt they said they were not calling about a debt but a criminal legal matter and would not discuss unless my lawyer friend gave them his Attorny Bar Number.  When I got on the line I told them I already filed one FTC complaint, they responded that they don't care because they work with the Feds to take people like me down.  So I advised them I will file another one, and will have the FBI involved also and make sure that I included the original creditor on the complaint and investigation.  Now today when I call the number it goes straight to voicemail.

exactly the same as above- paul walker left me a message at work "wishing me luck" as they are going to send me to court and prosecute me.  again, indian guys with such heavy accents it was ridiculous.  this is the second time this has happened and again, no one could tell me who the creditor was, etc. but they wanted my attorney's information.  i told them they weren't getting a thing without first answering my questions.  the man i spoke to, a rex (or rox) murphy then changed the subject numerous times and told me they had sent me numerous emails about this "situation".  they are LIARS and CHEATS!!!!!!!!  DO NOT GET EXCITED OR WORKED UP OVER THIS AS I DID BEFORE!!!  THE ARE CON ARTISTS!!!  FILE A POLICE REPORT!!!  CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!!  when i told them i was going to do the above and that i knew they were scam artists, he became beligerent and i hung up the phone on him.

A guy named Paul Walker called me as well.  He called me more then 10 times on my cell and work number leaving me messages while I am at work and cannot answer the phone.  I attempted to call the 1-951-565-4490 and it just rang and rang and rang with no answer.  Then they called again I finally answered the call coming in on caller id as 000-000.  I told this Paul Walker that I called and they didnt answer and he said that they were busy and sorry.  I was also charged with 3 counts and they read an affidavit off with 1. validation banking 2. colateral check loan 3. and something else but could barely understand as they didnt speak english.  Completely frustrating as I spoke with 3 Indian guys that I couldnt understand.  Thanks to you all for posting your concerns.  They told me their job is done and gave me no case#s, no account but they sure did know the last 4 of my social and said I need to show up at the courthouse, but never told me when or where, just get an attorney and can only dispute in court.  I asked why I didnt get paperwork and he said it goes to my work and hung up on me.

They are also calling me today with the same scam.  They are calling both my work and home cell phones, over 25 times in the past hour, and running up my minutes.  How do they get these numbers? I called my local FBI and tried to report this, but they said I needed to call the Riverside Police because that is the number they tell you to call back, so I did that and they were sympathetic but said they really cannot do anything because the 951-565-4490 number is a cell phone and they said it could be coming from any place in the world, so it was really not their jurisdiction.  I am going to try thee FCC next 888-225-5322, for those who would like to join me.

they are not debt collectors - THEY ARE CROOKS !  

They use fake ph numbers, so you cannot track a call back to them, unless you have the FBI helping when they call.


file reports with the local police and FBI,  when they call back tell you KNOW ITS a SCAM and have filed the reports, they'll stop calling.

You know, I repeatedly kept getting calls from a "Jason Smith" on my work number and I've had it.  I went to my boss about it because he's harrassing me.  Like today I go to lunch and I come back and I have 5 voicemails within an hour from this idiot.  So I told my boss about it and she called explaining to them it's illegal to harrass anybody on their job and he said he wouldn't call again.  So I'm on the phone with a customer and he called three times and I didn't answer.  Then he calls again irate as hell threatining me to call them with an attorney.  So I told my boss again, she has now taken this matter up with the big boss who has gone to HR. Apparently a lot of people at my job have been getting harrassed by these jerks.  So they are trying to see if they can possible locate where these jerks are to take some legal action.  But please people they are a scam company saying you owe money to payday loans yadda yadda yadda don't give in!

Calls from these horrible people nearly ruined my weekend. I got about 20 voicemails from "mona wilson" on Friday urging me to "call the second you get this message". I traced the call to California but it sounds like they are in India. Out of curiosity I called the number Sat. morning (6:00am Calif. time) and got some character named "max sorenson" who said I was being charged with 3 counts of bank fraud, cyber fraud and something else. When I told him I had no idea what he was talking about he asked if I had an attorney--he also asked if I was on probation or had been convicted of any crimes. He said I owed 785.00 to Fast Cash and of course they were willing to settle the matter if I sent them the money! I told him I never had a loan with that company. When I asked why I never got any written notification he said payday loan companies don't use the mail! He said I was supposed to be in California Superior court on Monday. This is so bizarre!!! I have reported to the FTC and am going to report them to my state's attorney general as well as CA attorney general. These people need to be stopped. I almost feel like I was threatened.

WARNING:  This company is completely fraudulant!  They claim they are the " Financial Accountability Law Firm"  and that I am supposed to be in court Monday for 3 legal matters.  They stated the last 4 of my social security number and full bank account!!! They refuse to give you any information and claim that they will only release it to your attorney... when you call them back they either dont pickup, refuse to give you any information, or simply tell you to quit wasting there time and hang up... they all have thick heavy indian accents...you can hear bunches of calls being made in the background!!! They called my job and asked for me! The names they used were Joe Brown & Jason Smith!!! SUCH A SCAM!!! see all the postings on 951-565-4491!!!  Thank you to everyone who posted!!! It gave me some piss of mind to know this was not legit!
