same here i just got the call from the same guy name hector..he wanted to speak to my mom about her car i told him i cant really understand what u are saying...he kept saying my moms name and once i told him im the daughter he hang up..i try calling back from different phones and the funny thing that the call doesn't go through.. and it is really annoying..i think definitely its a scam..

This phone number is a telemarketer for United Auto Warranty..

The lady, with foreign accents & broken English used 951-824-1627 called us noon 12:42,, 06/21/2013.
She was taking about my Honda car extent  insurance for ( car machine broken down). I  mentioned to  her not to call again. Thanks..She  did't say what company she represents.

I got a call from a very foreign accented person who I believe tried to identify himself as "Hector".  After much struggle to get him to identify himself or his company to me, he gave me some kind of excuse why he could not do so or that he was riding in a bus or something like that.  With that very strange foreign accent, it was very hard for me to understand him except that he was calling about refinancing an automobile loan on  one of my cars that he accurately knew about.  I believe that he might have answered my question about who his company was and he may have said "Auto Finance Company" and that he or the company was in Riverside, California.  My telephone service records and makes available to me all calls so I am able to report that the call was from (951) 824-1627.  I don't know how "Hector" got my phone number.  It is on the "do not call registry" list registered with the Federal Trade Commission.  I also have no idea how he identified me by name  and as the owner of the car, which has always been 100% paid for and there was never any financing for the purchase.  OBVIOUSLY, TO ME, THIS IS A PURE SCAM TO, SOMEHOW, STEAL MONEY FROM PEOPLE!
