these are scammers they fish ur last 4 from old debts thrown out from when statue of limitations run out. i had one threaten my momma with cops if she didnt get a hold of me. but with internet u can use their phone number to real time google map their location. *turned out the map showed a street corner with a  floral shop, not a lawyer firm* they wil scare u using law firms when u call the real law firms they got no clue their being used in this scam. I had one last yr tried to collect on a debt that was 13 yrs old

I would like to add, they said they were 'The Sate of California Attorney General Office".  So, I did them a favor and contacted the SOCAG Office and notified them that people were posing and using this entity to harass and threaten people.  They were thankful. But everything is consistent with the other complaints..a lot of broken English and threatening language, that would intimidate some. Except my people were Asian, not Indian.

I have received the same vailed threats and request for my social and I was being sued.  But the phone number has changed.  It is 916-500-4383 and they were clearly Asian.  I was cussed at and yelled at by these people like we were married, not like a professional law firm.  I was wise enough to bait them and the failed. I had about 10 of my best friends call them all day and eventually these Asians yelled and cussed at them as well.  I am retired law enforcement to bad for them.  This was classically funny after I realized it was a fraud.  They took the bate and freaked out.  We all called them back multiple times wasting there phone lines to be unable to use the phones to harass people.  They were yelling and cussing and spitting and stuttering by the end of the day.  I actually called and ordered Chinese food and was called a "mudderfucker p**sy bi***" by a women....All my friends called all day and ordered Chinese, it was great....Sorry about the cuss words but it is authentic and true..

I have been receiving calls from this same number since Friday! Every single comment above is exactly te same as my situation. I knew they were fakes! They left a message stating God Bless you if I didn't call back. And when I did thy could never give me any information about them. I asked if they could send the info to me hey said we dis and I was going to be prosecuted this past Monday in court. They are full of it! .

Our Daughter received call from these bozos, demanding money $350.00 in 10 minutes or she would be arrested the next morning,her children taken to a orphange.. This guy threw around words like attorney general?s office, affidavied, jail, and payday Loans, she called us upset needing money for this, we were purity sure it was a scam and confirmed it when we reached home that evening. If someone is contacted by these people call or online report to your State Attorney General, NC is Roy Cooper or the FTC the Federal Trade Commission.

the guy called me and got smart with me over the phone about a lawsuit! first of all if someone was suing me they will send a letter in the mail. he tryed to harrass me by calling over  and over again. He didnt know who he was messing with. I called him 300 hundred times in one night! He stop calling me then.

I received a call from california saying i was being sued for loan that took out. The guy said his name was johhny dash which is a cartoon character on nickolodeon! The number was 916-238-8305

I got this call today it was from a different number 916-415-8706 but everything I have read here is the exact same stuff they said to me about my husband. When I started questioning it all the guy could say was my husband was going to jail. Said they were from the law office of Jonny Bass  and if I didn't call back they were gonna have the police at my home.

this 951 878 5072 number is a scam and you need to call the federal trade commision and file a complaint. i spoke with the california supreme court and that is what they instructed me to do. thi s man has too much personal nfo such as address, work address, work  and cell phone and ss#s and must be stopped. if this number called you about law suit pls file complaint with federal trade commision 877 382 4357

pls if you get a call from 951-878-5072 you must call the federal trade commision and file a report. the report will be comfidential. this person who is calling from 951 -878-5072 seems to have all of my personal info including my address and ss#. like the other he claimed that a law suit in california was filed against me with 3 federal charges.first he ssaid i owed 2822.32 then he said if i paid $5400 now they could make it stop. he told me his name was attorney spencer adams and he was with federal unsecured loans legislature of unsecured loans.i spoke to california supreme court and they told me that i should call the federal trade commision. they dont investigate each individual case but the deal with it as a whole. if enough people call to explain these calls they can investigate this man and stop him. i am afraid a scared unsuspecting person may end up losing money by paying this scam artist. so if this man from 951 878 5072 called you about a law suit get as much info as you can and then call the federal trade commision at 1-877-382-4357. press prompt for complaint and then explain situation to a live operator. please help an unsuspecting person who does not knnow any better from losing thousands.

These people keep calling my cell and work numbers, harassing me.  They ask if I know I am getting sued and if I have a lawyer.  When I call them back they act like they don't know me and hang up on me, but continue to call saying May God save your life.  Enough is enough!

called my cell phone and my work number telling me that i have a lawsuit against me for non payment on a payday loan, says that he feel very sorry for me and that if i do not call them back they will have my local sherrif serve me with a warrant.The names they user are Jame sDavis and Justin Brown, They can barley speak english and when i confronted them saing i would file a complaint against them they hung up!!! this is a scam, i have seen multiple complaints on the internet for this numer and other form Pennsylvania and Maryland

I have been getting many calls the last few days from the same number, I answered today and some guy with a very heavy accent, (Brandon Gerber) or something like that said he needed my attorney's information about my lawsuit. I said what lawsuit. He said, you didnt know you were in a lawsuit? Said I should have been getting mail and emails about such lawsuit. I told him I have received nothing of the sort. I kept asking him what this was about, he said he couldnt tell me, told me to call 951-878-5072  extension 359 and speak to attorney Dexter Cruz sp.  I told him he either give me some info about what he is referring to or I was hanging up and to never call me again. He kept saying there is a lawsuit against my social security number and I will be arrested if I didnt cooperate. I told him I had NO IDEA what he was talking about. He said they would be contacting my job to get the money.  I would lose my job, my money and I would go to jail. I eventually got angry with him, mostly because I could only understand about every 3rd word he was saying, so I told him to never call me again and I hung up. I tried to call the number back and it rings a couple times, then beeps. I called numerous times and finally some woman answers (also heavy accent), Johnny Best law firm, or something like that, and I inform her i need to speak to Dexter Cruz at extension 359, she mumbles ok or somethiing and puts me on hold. I stay on hold for 3-4 minutes and I hang up. Now i google the number and see all this, this is ubsurd... what can be done to stop this harrassment?

I had just received a call from this number and two other numbers 7278278852 and 7207081000.  All claiming that they are calling from law firm and that I am being sued.  Told me to return call to a Dexter Cruz.  Glad to know that this a scam.  They were very scary and intimidating.  Is there any way to stop them from calling?

got the same phone call today at my job and house # and the guy with the heavy indian accent said he can't disclose any information until my lawyer calls him back.  the worse part is that im a IRS identity theft victim right now, so im thinking that there's a connection.

Man with a strong Indian accent that I could barely understand has called several times threatening me with some lame attempt to scare me into sending them money.  He says there is a lawsuit against my ssn and bank account and I am to call his supervisor immediately with my attorney.  His supervisor is Dexter Crews.

These people keep calling me on my cell and at work.  He called my office yesterday and I answered but said that the name he was looking for did not work there.  he goes unless you want to lose your job transfer me to her.  I said well ok Im transferring you. Oh wow..who ever thought a payday loan could lead to this. Its so funny!! I got the same exact thing :) He said he will get me fired. Right put that in writing :) Gosh I promise I'll never do that again! He got mad when I told him I read about it on the internet..and hung up on me. Too funny lol

This guy from  "Johnny's Law Firm" with a very heavy Indian Accent, called and left a message on my voice mail on Saturday, and  claimed that they had a lawsuit against me and that they needed to verify some information with me. i tried to call them back this morning and just got beeps in my ear, then he called me back and  they would not give me the information they needed to verify, they expected me to give it to them. I wnat them to stop calling my job. I think this is a scam, I want to know how do i report it.

I got the exact same phone calls 2 days in a row as the rest of the people.Johnny Best was the lawyers name and the gut I talked to had a very heavy Indian accent and would give me any information that I pressed him for.Threatened to sue me and to contact my employer as well.Tried to call back and heard a beep and that was all.Assuming it was a messaging service I left a message and have not heard a thing.

Been having the same exact problem for the past week from the same number. So happy I knew this wasn't right. Just called them back and told them that I knew this was a scam and that they better not call me again and he replies "Ok, I will take your number off the calling list, have a nice day". Hoping they call again so I can really cuss them out. Will never fill out another payday loan application.

I got the same call from a from a guy with an india  accent said I was need a lawyer or otherwise I will go to jail for 18 months I tried to call back to received more info regarding this issues I was in hold for more than 20 minutes then their hang up on me. Call back many times did not answer about 2 hour later call back a guy answer the phone name Mr. Johnson from Phantom debt collector. I'm glad I google it cause I starting freaking out about this scam.

They called me from a law firm called john e. debt and they are saying that I am being sued by my social security number and my name and that they will issue me a arrest warrant for a wire transfer they put into my account where there isn't no such money in my account. The call is from California and I am very worried about this. But they did not give me any information by mail or e-mail stating the debt.

This person is now jack davis. He keeps calling with the same scam. I will be turning this into police.

So glad I googled this number. I have gotten 4 calls today from the same Indian man with a deep accent. He even left a message with my employer that I need to call Frank Watson and that I am being sued for a loan. I have never asked for or received any type of loan. When I explained this he told me that the police would be at my house soon to pick me up. He also used a lot of profanity before hanging up on me. I wonder if reporting this to my local law enforcement will make it stop?
