Gobbledy gook call which I answered on my cell phone.  Couldn't understand all, but sounded like others I read about---something about credit card, call immediately to clarify etc. etc.  Too broken up to find out much more, but obviously a scam.

Received a phone call at 855pm that was automated and garbled. Message stated that my debit card had been deactivated and that I needed to speak with their security department. I did not press 1 because I did not hear that part (message was garbled).  I did not hear what bank my debit card was from.  Tried calling the number this morning and it has been disconnected according to the message.  

I feel better now that I'm reading all of these. I was freaked out for a second there!

Got a message saying to press 1 to reactivate my debit card for purchases.  Did not call number back.

Got the same call and the same basic message this afternoon. It called both our cell phones which have nearly sequential numbers. This is a scam. Run like the wind from it. I pity the person who gives out their credit card info to them. DON'T!!!

same thing happened to me on 11/04 @ around 8:45PM. This AM, that # has been disconnected...those scum-sucking parasites!

My wife and I both received a message at the same time that our debit card was compromised and wanted us to call. We call our banking institution and found it ti\o be a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(952) 563-7000

Same automated message to me tonight.  I had just used my card to purchase gas at Morongo Reservation off Apache Trail exit by the 10. Maybe Morongo is selling or sharing info of their customers with the scammers?  I entered no info.  I called number back and got what sounded like a Vietnamese automated message answering.  I again hung up.  I would like to report them as well.  My guess is its acutally an Asian company using an American number to try to steal credit card info.  Of course, it is very difficult for American companies to prosecute this if its Vietnam or china where it originates.

Same call today. Called actual card issuer and reported it. They said they've been receiving a lot of calls about this one.

Received a phone call that said my debit card woud not work at the ATM or for shoppping & to press 1 for security.  It as an automate message.

I recieved the same call about my debit card, pressed 1 then they asked for my account #. i hung up and called my bank....DEFINATELY a phishing scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is related to Ticketmaster.  Just bought some tickets last week and now this number is calling.

I got a call from this number saying my credit card has been deactivated and that I needed to call customer service to reactivate or press 1 and I'll be transferred so I can reactivate it.  I knew it seemed fishy and hung up to google the number.

Voice mail was left on my cell phone- saying to call the security department or press 1

I recieved an unsolicited call from this number. My phone number is unpublished

I received a call on my cell from this number and did not pick up. About 30 minutes later my husband received a call from the same number. He picked up and was told our Visa ATM card had been restricted. (The same as everyone else in this forum has said.) He hung up. We called both our credit card company and bank and were advised to make a police report. The police came out to the house and took his statement.

My husband and myself got a call from this number about 4:20 pm tonight. A computer told my husband that his debit card was inactive and when they called me they told me to press 1 for their security dept. But when I called the number it could not be completed. I also got a call from 1-800-391-8627 related to this but when I called it just made a loud buzzing noise. It sounds like it started a week and a half ago. Very strange!!!

Just received a call from this number at about 5:50pm  I didn't not answer.  I googled the number & found this website.  Thanks everyone for the warning.

Just got a wierd call from these do***e bags! Same as the other post on here. Im going to contact the police department and have the phone number traced.

My wife got a call on her cell phone.  She got the "Press 1 for the security department on your debit card".  She hit 1, but couldn't hear anything after that.  I explained that this is likely a bogus call because we don't give even our banks our cell numbers.  Checked here and showed her the confirmation I needed.

I got a call today and they said my debt card was inactive. Looked up their phone number on google and this is what I found.

the garbled message mentioned "credit card deactivated"  hard to hear rest of message.  requested me to enter information to "reactivate".

got the call around 7pm didnt answer bc i didnt know the # called back 3 time all busy.

Received a call today on my work cell phone (whose # I do not let out) saying my bank ATM card hadn't cleared something or another. (automated voice) and to press 1 to continue or call 800-391-XXXX Hung up and called the bank and was told that this is a phishing call attempt to get your card number. Why can't they close these lines/people down?

called on my cell phone at 10pm.nobody has my number, but my family.stumbled on this site.i thought this was a scam ,now i know it is.

I received a call at 1030 pm saying my visa debit card was restricted at first i believed it then realized that i didn't have visa so hung up the phone.

Got the call saying my card was deactivated.  I got suspicious and hung up and came here to find that it is a scam.
