This company is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. Sloppy record keeping, failure to validate at every level, under-trained, uneducated collectors SEVERELY lacking in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act training.

Intellirisk must be making BIG bucks in collecting because they sure don't spend it to insure they comply with the laws. Student loans with these idiots is a nightmare. Most Allied collector's don't have a clue in handling even the most basic of consumer complaints. Loans that have been paid, in the wrong names and outdated credit bureau reporting are fast targets for lawsuits because Allied is unable or unwilling to respond.

If you receive a collection notice from Allied DISPUTE IT! Even though you will never receive a reply, it is important that you use the law to your advantage. Allied aptly fits the saying; "the right hand hasn't a clue what the left hand is doing" Brain-Dead! Idiots! Untrained!

May I state again....THANK GOD FOR THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT!! Someone in Washington must have had a dream about companies like Allied to enact the law. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I work in HR for a manufacturing company in SC. Today I received a call from this number asking for an 'Alicia' When I replied that I don't have an employee by that name, he got aggrevated and changed the name to 'Felisha'. I don't have an employee by that name either. Trying to keep the man content, I asked him to spell the name...he hesitated then spelled 'F..e..l..ummmm...ico' Felico?  A different name again, but that's a name that I'd certainly remember...if this person were real.  Now the man's is upset and demands that he his a check stub verifying payroll info from our company in Jan09.  COMPLETELY FALSE!!!  Then he provided me with a SS# and ask my to verify the name that matched the social sec. #.  Not a chance would I give them anyone's ss# or any personal info. I demanded that the fax me over the document they had indicating false payroll info...so I could investigate. He immediately interrupted and said sarcastically 'I'll drop it in the mail' and hung up on me.  The caller ID showed 1-952-582-4807, but the call back # was 1-866-429-7605. Be ware of both. I too smell a SCAM!!!!

someone called at 6am one morning and name never showed on my answering machine and the person did NOT leave any message.btw,I tought businesses of any kind are not suppossed to call before 8am?
