They called, did not leave a message. I called them back and some guy answered and you could not understand what he was saying. But I think it was something financial. I asked for Mary and he said just a minute!
He was rude. I have blocked that number.

Got a call from this number. No message. Lots of companies online who guarantee they can reveal the owner of the number, FOR A RATHER EXORBITANT PRICE. In the immortal words of WC Fields: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again then quit. No use being a fool about it". Maybe these callers should heed that advice. Regardless, I would like to leave people who call and do not leave messages this poem:

When I'm in a sober mood, I worry work and think
When I'm in a drunken mood, I gamble, play, and drink

Financial Recovery

Do you really think the people making these calls read the messages here?

This number is calling Collect!  Seriously?

some idiot called at 8 am and did not say a word when I answered!   I blocked their number out and will not pick up calls of this type from any number.     Maybe they should call OBAMA.........he could bail us all out of this mess like he did the RICH folks.

I had a missed call from them on my phone. No message left.
They call me at work saying I owe Bank Of America over $4000 from 1997. "We are a collection agency...blah blah blah...any information obtained will be used for that purpose...blah blah blah...this conversation is being recorded...blah blah blah..." Lady never told me her name. I told them I never had any accounts with BOA and they simply hung up.

Calls, phone rings exactly four times and then hangs up.  The point is to harass me, but it's not working.  They try to collect very old written-off debts.  I'll pay what I rightfully owe to the right person, but the debt they are trying to collect is less than $500 and there was disagreement with me and the company that I even owed them the money.  As far as I was concerned; I didn't owe them anything.  I hadn't received service/goods to even bring up that charge.  Several others have tried to collect it, but when I ask them to validate the debt, to show the original signed documents, etc., they can't and so they go away.  I can last longer than they can.  It's an annoyance, but I'm not going to pay money to someone I don't know for something I don't owe.  Places like this buy old debt for pennies on the dollar, most of it isn't even real.

tThis phone number 952-893-0340 keeps calling my cell phone.  I do not answer because I do not know the number, but some of those messages from other's were not nice.

My dad got a call from this number. He said they wanted to verify his zip code and was getting upset and anxious when he wounld not cooperate.
I have been researching it and when I called the number posted on his call log, the message said I had reached FRS to leave my name and phone number with an FRS file number if I had it.
Well I hung up, that was the start.
I have traced it to Minnesota, possibly Bloomington or Shakopee with a possible zip code of 55437.
Still researching it to see if I can tie down the address...

If you have a return card from USPS proving that FRS got your cease-comm, and then continued collection activity afterward, the proper response is not "block them / ignore them". You send them a summons, which is the whole point of having invested nearly six dollars to send a single page letter.

This group is intersting they continue to call and demand info and if it isnt given they will hangup, if a request is made about them they will give a vague response then go jekyl/hide. ignore them. I use a call screener on my phone ande if i don't recognize i won't answer. This site is great have blocked them yet they still try with many different numbers
