i find it funny that theres so much hate on this thread from secretaries..once again...secretaries. if you guys are on here making threads demeaning a company offering your firm an opportunity to handle clients, then obviously you have too much time on your hands and your boss can use the service, because its clear that you don't have enough clients to keep occupied at your 9-5 receptionist job. But then again, receptionists and paralegals are geniuses so maybe they got it all figured out and get their bosses clients just from biting their nails at their desk and wanting to go home early.

Number one, this John Morales guy works for a recruiter and does not personally know of clients in my area that "could be looking for personal injury consultation."  If they were, they'd call their local firm directly and cut out the jerks like you.

Why don't you do this whole thread some good will by shutting the [----] up since it appears that you obviously don't know what you're talking about?!  You should consider coming forward with a better defense other than ignorant excuses as to why ANY law firm should be told how to run their business by some scam artist recruiter.  Guess what?  Guys like you are everywhere!  Just like in used cars, there's an a** for every seat.  It may not be illegal but it doesn't make it right!  

You can respond but I wouldn't bother since after clicking submit I'll most likely never see this thread again unless one of your leeches calls my firm again.  We don't prosecute people like you, we don't waste our time.  I'm not wasting time any time as I type this, I'm rather quite humored.  In situations such as this I'll always just google search your number again!!  Some of us are learning and other's aren't dumb enough....  I feel bad for the rest.  Thanks Google!  :)

B2B cold call sales is legal especially when dealing with advertising for attorneys. Don't mistaken arrogance for confidence.

Read the email. It says he is going to forward your info to an attorney. Maybe if you could read & understand then you wouldn't be in such shock. It seems like he was trying to help you, but your too stupid to see that. Get a clue!

Sounds like a hungry salesman who is trying to do his job and is dealing with some old lady who thinks she knows it all.

Then obviously you might be holding your boss back from a great opportunity. Shouldn't assume all calls to your office with business proposals are not effective.

Call on 10/26/12 to St. Louis area from John Morales, claiming to need a personal injury attorney in the area. Went online and saw earlier post advising this is a marketing scam.

I am just shocked! By this  I had been discussing a possible law case with this man since September. I honestly am upset he had talked to me like he was a lawyer and even got some of my info from a law site i had never thought of him to be anything but a lawyer. I honestly can't remember if i gave him my social info or not.  I am not an attorney. Therefore I can?t help you, but Mr. Caress is and I?m sure he?d be glad to help. Good luck with your case.

This guy keeps calling even though we have told him we are not interested and will not use his company.  He has even emailed my boss who won't respond to him.  This guy just doesn't get it.  He has called our office at least 3-4 times per week.  Guess they don't have caller ID where he is because we all see it's him calling.  We've filed a complaint against this jerk three times with the Do No Call Registry.  We have told him not to call here and he just keeps doing it.  How stupid is that?!?  Too bad this guy thinks we are all dumber than him.  He calls claiming to be a client - which is a lie.  Then he yells that by not putting him through to our boss that we are losing him money.  What a joke this guy is.

He did this to me just now. He called and said he was looking for my boss. I said he's in court, would you like to leave a message. He said he'll call back. This guy has called so many times so I just blurted out "You're a telemarketer, right?" He obviously said "No" and hung up. Frustrated, I called back and left a message saying "Don't call this office again. I know you're a marketing scam." I guess this was my mistake, but I've had it with enigmatic telemarketers posing as clients who are looking for an atty. He called back. I answered. He told me "DON"T CALL MY OFFICE. THIS IS NOT A SCAM." So I told him "Then don't call this office." I hung up. I guess he finally got a taste of what it's like to be on the receiving end of his pestering calls. He then proceeded to call 5 times within 3 minutes. I ignored him. If he can't stomach people calling his office, then he shouldn't be doing what he's currently doing. Jack***.

Called our offices 5 times yelling that the secretaries were losing the boss money.
