I have the same problem, I gave them my SSN and DOB, how do I save myself now?

Same exact story as Danielle. Didn't get charged and cancelled my card but they have my social security number. What do I do?!

Yesterday on 6/10/2013, I wanted to call ATT, because my home's Internet was not working and I would like to update my U-Verse account and I searched on Google to find the ATT U-Verse phone number (because it is different from the ATT phone) and I found the number (866)641-7782. I called this number and I spoke with a lady on the phone. All the time she simulated that she is an ATT's representative. She took my SSN, my DOB, pin, my home address& my e-mail. After this she told me that she needs to find my information and she will call me back. Few minutes later she called me from (954)647-0000. She told me that I will have access to the Internet tomorrow on the 6/11/13. They will charge me $39.99 for my home phone and Internet, but I will have a combine bill for my cell phone home phone and Internet. She gave me an Order Confirmation Number: 10-0599-6638. Finally, I said thank you and I asked her for her name and she hang us the phone. I was trying to call again the number (954)647-0000, but I understood that this is an invalid number. I continued to search for ATT and I found their real number and I spoke with them and they told me that the only phone number for the U-verse account is (800)288-2020. After this conversation, I checked my e-mail and I saw that I have an e-mail from the Qology Direct from buyatt@transactions.qologydirect.com.  If you need it I will send you a copy form this e-mail. On the e-mail there was a phone number 888-573-4107. I called this number and told them that I would like to cancel my order. They asked my for my 4 digits of my SSN and DOB. I told them the SSN and DOB and after this I received another e-mail from order@ecom.wireless.att-mail.com . The e-mail said that my order is canceled and to call 888-573-4107. The reason I would like to report this is that the have my SSN, my DOB, pin, my home address & my e-mail. I am afraid that they may access my credit reports and my debit and credit cards. Also, they are acting like they are ATT. Please, tell me what I can do to protect myself.

They've called 8!!!!! Times today. Refuse to answer. Make it stooooooop!!!!!!!

They also use Asus support cover as well.   I called their number posted and when Rey called back they gave me a bs story sayin they can assist with my laptop  through remote access using the Internet when my laptop is not even powered up lol

They are a 3rd party "broadband" retailer. They supposedly sell Comcast and one of their many websites is onlinecomcast.com. Do not contact them as they aren't legit. When you confront them you get no where. All their numbers are different from Comcast, they don't know Comcasts deals and are making it up as they go. If you Google them you'll see they are a scam. Comcast will not do anything about it as they do "outsource for our services" and apparently don't care. What an online rep stated when confronted about not knowing Comcasts deals and all their information being incorrect was " We are Qology direct, an order entry partner for broadband service providers. We are located in Margate, Florida.".
