This call is from the collection dept of the Sun Sentinel newspaper. They have different numbers but from the same dept. If you get the call they will answer but if you call back it says sun sentinel but no one answers. No way to take the number off - just pay your bill.

I agree with you. I hope someone files a suit. I am paying a huge amount of money for my cell phone, only to receive intrusive, anonymous calls. The numbers I am receiving match the previous posts. I would like to know where to officially report this to the State of Florida.

Depending on the type of phone you have, you can go online and block the numbers that have called you. You can save them on your phone under contacts. Edit contact and click to send straight to voicemail.

I've been getting the calls as well they haven't talked when I answer and the call doesn't go through when I try calling them back what's really upsetting is that me wife is prego and when I'm at work I like to leave my phone on and on me just incase she calls and they've been calling me while I'm at work and my managers are starting to get upset with my phone going off 5-6 times for nothing so if you do start a suit please let me know.

When I called 954-666-1089 it had an automated message that said "Sun Sentinal; this call was made for telemarketing purposes."

I'm so fed up with these harassing phone calls. No one is ever in the line yet they call me 4 or 5 times per day. I'm going to try filling a suit in small claims court. I don't know what else to do.

Someone just call me -it's 9 o'clock in the evening. I did not answer but ID say it is Florida Teleser.
I recieve those calls all the time. Most of the time I ignore but one time when I did answer my phone lady want to send me some coupons, which I refused and she got angry at me.

They said they were the Sun-Sentinel (newspaper company) and we hadn't paid the bill. My fiance had answered ,and gave them her CC info to pay $29 they said was owed. When I woke up, she told me about it, except I owe only $10. We called the Sun-Sentinel and they indeed said it wasn't them and they were having problems with fraud. They have been calling incessantly from different numbers for the past couple weeks, and she finally answered. The other #'s are:

Received a phone call from several telephone numbers, all with "Florida Telser.." in the caller ID.
I have been answering the phone and no one is there. I hang on hoping to scream at the caller but no one ever comes on the line. I have tried to call back but the calls do not go through. Several times I have not answered the phone but no one leaves a message.
