They just called here, I answered the phone only to hear a rude man say "The PRI is not working for you is is?" then he hung up on me.  What the ------ is that about?

They just called my office and said they were AT&T, but Caller ID said Americom! He said he wanted to offer upgrades to our service and would it be okay if he faxes over the options. I said you'll probably need our fax # then, huh?! He said yes, but then asked if any of the decision-makers were here and I said they were all at lunch! Immediately after that we were somehow disconnected!

I received a phone call from 954-960-8680 this morning....a female stated that she was from verizon and was calling about my contract renewal.  I restated what she had said, that she was calling from verizon....  I then asked if she would give me her phone number and that I would call her back.....at which time, she hung up.

The name and phone number on my caller ID shows.....Americom 954-960-8680

I don't know who is calling, but they call a couple times a day.  There's always a silence, followed by loud background....then I usually hang up after the silence.  Today when i answered the second time they called, they started with...."this is radio station 105." and I said....'what the***" and hung up.  I am sick of this bull!  I just got a landline for the first time in about 10 years.  Have had the number for about a month and am already being bombarded with idiots calling.  I HATE THIS!

It was a call center as there was lot of chattering. I waited for good amount of time. Rep came on line to find
Out if I am a decision maker and started to offer Verizon service. I told him know but he kept talking and I hung up and I placed this tel # to direct call to voice mail.

Received a Voice Message from 954-960-8680.  Caller identified himself as JIM, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE FROM VERIZON BUSINESS SERVICES.  Said he had a Preliminary Quote to send us regarding our Phone and Internet Accounts, and we could call 866-824-1770, Extension #2134 to discuss further.  Jim was very professional when he left his message (unlike many others who are sent to a special extension that was set up just for calls of this nature).

Thanks for the many reports.  The number has been added to our DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK NUMBERS LIST (now about 400 numbers).  It is frightening to learn that the majority of telemarketer calls are scams!  The "antics" to get through to executives are numerous and often relentless!!  The majority of
telemarketers don't even know who they are calling!!!

Just got a call from this number asking for me (I'm in an office/place of business).  The person identified themselves as a Verizon rep.  Our office assistant put them into my voicemail which they choose not to leave a message.  I have never been a Verizon customer before.

Company  doesn't identify themselves, except for saying they are calling on behalf of Verizon --- VERIZON please stop calling me or allowing 3rd parties to call me... they are tarnishing your NAME. Americom is the name coming up on the CALLER ID.

I just received a call from 3 of them AT THE SAME TIME!  I answer a very busy phone line and don't have timr to deal with them.

Called--did not answer--no vm left

Called place of business again, didn't answer & they didn't leave a message. I have told these idiots in the past one all business is handled by my home office in PA & 2 we are on the DO NOT CALL list.

They stopped for about a month I see they are back... Caller ID comes up: FLORIDA now.

Called again just now and let it ring for awhile.  Very annoying while I'm waiting on customers.

They called and it just rang once.  More of an annoyance more than anything.

Called three times within 15 minutes! Please tell me how to block this fraudulent intrusion!

Some guy called, asked for the decision maker for the phone service, I asked who he had listed, he didn't have a name, I than asked what company he is calling, he said he only had a phone number.  I laughed and he disconnected the phone.  I would assume any company calling that doesn't know the name of the company they are calling or a contact person is not who they say they are, which in this case they said they were Verizon.  I guess they must be dialing random phone numbers.

These guys are using a big lie in the first sentence of their sales pitch to get their foot in the door. THEY AREN'T VERIZON!!!!!!!
They are AmeriCom. A privately owned company that buys phone service and resells it.
Why would anyone switch their vital business phone service over to a bunch of liars?

These guys are liars. They claim to be verizon, they are not. They are a privately owned reseller called Americom. Do you really want to do business with someone who is flying false colors? These guys are scum.

They called a few minutes ago. I answered, then I heard a ring. Then they picked up.  When their 5-second attention span was about to expire, I asked to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list, and they just hung up.

They called and said they were from AT&T. Asked for someone that has not been at our number for over three years.

Thanks for the info.  They called and I let it go to the machine and they hung up.

They also call business and try to change or upgrade service.

This number is from Verizon.  They call people who have left their company and attempt to draw them back in.
