That's because you call people at random. You're not just scammers, you're desperate scammers.

Sites like this make it harder to trick people out of money on the phone huh? Yeah, we already knew that, but it's always nice to get confirmation directly from you scammers!

Can't believe the amount of poeple who sign up in the Lobby of the Luxor or Exaclibur to win a car or trip and then don't remember doing it... and then call them a scam for calling you back like you asked them to do ... like me.  
Guess you can't make everyone happy!

I'm glad to have found these responses so I know it's widespread.  I get those (954) area code missed calls all the time, but today was the first message they left and it was about a Chris Angel Corvette drawing and to call Grandview Casino... Of course I knew it was a scam, I'd not been to a casino in over a year and they'd not be just calling me if I'd won.  I wish I knew who these people actually are,  Reverse look-up only gives a general area in Florida.  They need reported to the Better Business Bureau.  Firstly for calling cell phones unsolicited.

They offered us a free stay too? Has anyone followed thru on it and seen if its legit? It all sounds pretty legit but I was just wondering if anyone has followed thru and if they received the reimbursement of their payment.

THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ALMOST DAILY FOR LAST 2 WEEKS.

i have recieved a bunch of these calls recently too.  i almost forgot that i did fill out the "win the corvette" at the luxor.  i have called the luxor to tell them that this reflects badly on them (obviously my real goal is to stop the calls).  While i did get to the marketing department 702-262-4815, i did not get to speak to the individual i needed to speak to, Maria Gatti as she was out to lunch, but was told that sending her an email would be best -  first initial last name @hotelname(dot)com  (no punctuation before the @)

I just got a call offering me a free 3-4 night stay. I asked how he got my info and he said I entered a drawing at the Luxor casino in Vegas (I did). Didn't get through the whole call- I told him we do not do any type of business over the phone and to send me the info instead.

Answered my phone, the guy asked how a free trip to the Luxor sounded, I said, "great but I am taking my daughter to a neurologist right now"..he said, "have a good time" and hung up., yeah, taking my 4 yr. old to a neurologist  is fun- dick!

Received a call saying I won a trip to Vegas ... I did fill a coupon to win "chris angel corvette" at the luxor beginning of july 2010 ...  I don't speak english often so I asked them to send me every details by e-mail .. never got anything back !

I have been getting a lot calls from this number.  I don't even answer it anymore as I recognize the number.  It is really getting tiresome.

Have been getting the same call. Stayed at the Luxor in May and registered for "Chris Angels' Corvette".  Sounds like there is a theme here.

I entered a draw at the luxor casino and they called to offer a free stay!

I entered the same drawing, just got call for the free room and x-tra's, just wanted 1 night deposit on credit card and i would be reimbursed when i got there within a year....told lady no thanks, she was very nice....told her call back when i win the Vet

This number keeps calling me everyday at the same time. When I answer th ey hang up. A number that is almost the same was calling and the same thing. Everytime I answer they hang up. One time someone finally said something and asked for Mis. Mead. The number was (954)972-0030. They people are pissing me off. The wake me up every morning just to hang up on me.

I did speak to someone last week about a trip to Vegas
but it was sell a new timeshare their building at the Luxor
we enter a contest for a car at the casino in Novemeber
wont do that again, the man on the phone was very nice
when I said we already own a Hilton Timeshare and have
more weeks to enjoy than we know what to do with
but the number keeps calling!!!!

Received two calls last night, but didn't answer.  Just got another call from them and I answered.  Turns out to be a Timeshare Service.  I went to Las Vegas for New Years and stayed at the Luxor.  While there, they had a raffle drawing for a car.  I filled out the card and dropped it in.  Should have known it was just a ploy to get my information.  Anyway, this company called me and offered me a free trip (hotel, airfare, and one meal per day) back to Las Vegas if I atteded one of there Timeshare Resort Tours.  I know these "tours" have some really great sales people who practice "hard" selling techniques, so I respectfully declined.  The man on the other end was very polite and removed me from their call list.

Tooo many calls... but they never speak to you...

For those of you answering or calling back the number, check your phone bill. It might be one of those numbers that bills you an exuberant amount and you won't be able to do anything. I've got Vonage, so I'm not worried about it.

I just received a call from this number too, and since I have had a stalker previously from FLA, it really freaked me out. I am relieved to know its not a crazy person I"m trying to hide from. Very scary, though.

Same thing here.  I have gotten multiple calls from this number with only 1-2 seconds before they hang up and a busy signal when I called back.  It's been a few weeks since I have gotten a call from this number, but I just received another one.  It's getting old, I feel like I have a stalker in Florida!

Got numerous phone calls on my cell with the same thing, Noise in the background, and no one there. They hang up after 1-2 seconds. If I call it back, the number is busy.

They call multiple times per day and do not leave a message. I just answered a call from them a few minutes ago and there was a lot of noise in the background, like they were in a noisy call center. They hung up after 1-2 seconds without saying anything. When I've called the # back (I've done so many times) the phone does not even ring one time on my end when I hear a click on their end like someone has picked up the phone and hung up quickly.
