Received a call from this number on my work cell phone.  Did not recognize the area code and they did not leave a message.  Sprint is our cell phone provider.

Called me today (10-31-11) at 1:18pm. I called immediately back and I was given the option to press 1 to be removed from their calling list. It didn't say who they were or anything like that. I'm assuming all of this is scams to get you signed up for something and steal money. <Western Wisconsin>

How strange!   I got the same call last Friday from the Phoenix, AZ number (480) 286-8652 number and today from this Gresham, OR number (971) 220-1558.   I live in TX.    Did not answer either call.

Got the call at 1:38 EST in NC.  Didn't answer and left no message.

Last week call came in after 9 pm, I hung up on the automated message. They called again today and I did not answer.  My cell is with Verizon .

Got the same call in NC a couple hours ago.  Didn't answer and left no voicemail.

I have an account on my iPhone via Whistle for a free #. This number just called me twice in a row, I didnt answer, but the week before another call was coming in from a number I didnt know.

I also got this call and had arizona call before. Very annoying!

I just got a call as well, in Texas.  The 480-286-8652 number a week ago.  Neither made a peep.

I imagine the 'OPT OUT' option will be just as effective as opting out of junk mail.

I have received numerous calls now from a 480-286-8652 number and now this same number on my mobile phone.  How are they getting our numbers? Can we get on a Do Not Call List?

They just called. I picked up, no responce.  I think they are doing data collection to see what lines pick up when so they can sell that info to telemarketers or use it internally for sales.  If they see that at 1 pm CST your line picks up without answering machine, they know somebody is home at that time which assists them or other telemarketers to get the maximum amount of human interaction when they make future calls or the if auto dialer does.

I just got it on my US Cellular phone. It is from Tuttle Insurance requesting that I press one if I am uninsured or 9 if I wish to be removed from the calling list. ANNOYING!

Just got this call. I picked up and it was an automated recording. Some health care company trying to sell insurance. I got the exact same message from an AZ number a while back.

same thing, also got the same 480 number last week. These are weird. I get them perodically thoughout the year, no answer. Just trying to see if the # exists or something. I dont get it.

I think is a "follow up" from the Arizona calls. I got them last week and now I'm getting this one, same drill, no answer, no message. I am in NC and my carrier is AT&T.
