As soon as I opened my resume up to potential employers on the internet I started getting the same annoying messages.

The calls are generating from those that apply for jobs online and they have a question do you want to be contacted by whatever school they are advertising and even if you click no they still call ... UGHHHHH ..

They were calling to verify some information so I could get pregnant qualified for a job... They said I posted an application online...  I have not posted an application and after I told them they insisted I did and needed to verify my information...  So I insisted I hadn't posted an application take my name off of your calling list and I asked for the company name so I could contact my lawyer for unwanted solicitation...  The operator names Jackie hung up lol...

A disturbing call  from 9712201894 has a clear, sharp female voice wanting to ask me questions.  
the comment, "This will be recorded for training purposes."  is heard.  She's obviously reading from a prepared page because she repeats a question that's not apt and getting a response from me that doesn't fit what the agency expects to hear.  This is naturally annoying to me.  
Disturbing becomes suspicious.  Especially when it involves financial matters.  I think we need to alert authorities on this.  How about you?

They call at least 3 times a day and do not say anything. I say hello 3 times and they hang up and when i call back a recording says it is not a working number

I've been reading these posts about submitting resumes for jobs online.  I didn't submit anything online, but received a call at 1pm today from this number.  Strange!

These calls are spoofed overseas numbers from various scammers. they are now getting numbers from th Do Not Call list! Contrary to the statement on the GOV DNC site saying, "No numbers on the Do Not Call Registry are being released to telemarketers and scammers. if you tell the gov you are going to solicit via phone and you want to be in complience with the DNC list, the telemarketer is required to download the Do Not Call  list to remove the phone numbers from their list with. Once they download the list, an unscrupulous telemarketer will use the downloaded list to make calls since its all real and active numbers for mostly ppl who could fall for the scam. Like the elderly or slow.  Plus they are perfect victims as they already fell for the first one, that is registering for a Do Not Call list thats is GIVEN to scammers, with zero enforcement.

I know the calls are irritating, but this website is not the people who are calling you. It is simply a database of numbers that is here so that others can find out which telemarketer/debt collector/scammer they belong to. Nobody at 800notes can stop the calls.

Your best bet is to put yourself on the Do Not Call list found at http://www.donotcall.gov , and once that takes effect, if the calls happen again, report them.

Just got a Call from # 1-971-220-1894 I dont know who it was

Just got a call from this number and finally picked up after 2 days of them calling without leaving a message. They said they were college advisors, I asked what the company or university was and they just kept saying college advisors. I asked where they are located/headquartered and he said chicago Illinois. He said he was calling to follow up about the information I requested....I had never requested any information from anyone as I am already enrolled in a university program. He said "oh good luck in your studies" and hung up.   ....What is this about?

I just received a call from 678-266-3226.  A young man asked me if I had anything to say.  I asked "who is this" and he responded by saying that I had hit his car and left my number.  Asked me to be quiet and just listen.  I hung up.

Ditto...can't simply fill out an application without answering "survey questions".  Even though I am very careful to uncheck boxes to be contacted; skip page etc the calls start before I even get to the application.

This number calls me sometimes 2X a day ..&/or at least 3-5 X a week!!  I've tried to call back & it's a recording as this is a non working number!!!   Other times it had a busy signal !!  I hate these!!  Please make them stop !!

Received several call on cell phone..no one ever on line

Am very sick of these calls coming on my cell. Pisses me off that I can get solicitation calls on a cell. The reason I got a cell was to end the calls I getting on my home phone.

I get calls since a few days everyday. I don't pick up because i don't know the number.
