My identity has been compromised and reported recently. Since then, I have been called daily by this number several times a day, with no-one on the line when I answer. This makes me feel very unsafe, and I do not appreciate it. I owe no-one that I do not pay! There is an investigation, so chances are they will be caught at their game. That would be very nice!

I have no idea why the company is calling me. They will not talk if you say hello. Can someone say if they have gotten any resolution when contacting them via the link.

To update my post from 2 weeks ago - using their web site to register a "wrong person/stop calling me" report proved futile. I suppose that I'm not that surprised, but I guess one can always hope. Anyway, from what I can tell for the FCC site the next step is to FAX them an official stop calling me notice in writing. We'll see how that goes.

I did a little more research, and they are a collection agency. I then went to the FTC website, and it said that they have to stop calling you once you tell them to. I took a chance on the company being reputable, and used the link on their website to tell them they have the wrong person (I have no overdue debts) and to stop calling. It's: http://www.westassetmanagement.com/contact/discuss/wrongperson.cfm. Anyway, if they don't stop calling, I'll post again here, otherwise it means they got the message to go away. Man this has been ANNOYING!

They call me several times a day, 6 days a week. I let the machine pick up, but they never leave a message, so I have no idea who they are or what they want. This has been going on for the past several weeks... and I've been tempted to answer just to get them to stop... but haven't yet done so.

They keep calling my house asking for someone with our same last name but that isn't us. They don't give any option to say "Hey, you've got the wrong person" only to put the call on hold so you can go get them or that they "aren't available".... how annoying...

This number called at 8:23 am as coming from De Soto, TX. Since I don't know anyone from this area, I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.
