Yes, it is Capital One Auto--I just financed a car through them and received a phone call every day since from a different 972-378 number. The lady I spoke to said that it's just a "welcome" call but I don't understand why I am still receiving if they've already welcomed me? Very annoying and don't know if it will stop!

Isn't one number enough?

I have gotten 4 phone calls today where my phone doesn't even ring once before they hang up. This is my cell phone they are calling, the only phone number I have.

These people keep calling me two and three times a week trying to reach someone who must have used my number as a reference. Despite having been told repeatedly that I am not this person, he cannot be reached at this number and not to ever call back, they are still harrassing me. Who can I report them to?

8 times at least everyday from 4 different numbers! how do you stop this?

Same as many of you - I get calls ALL the time with an automated message to call Capital One Auto Finance about my account.  HELLOOO, McFLY, I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH YOU!!!  P****off and leave me alone. I just got a call from another 972 number.  It's 972-378-4101.  Don't even bother trying to call and speak to someone. The automated system won't dare let you speak with a HUMAN!

They are ridiculous. They call me 6 or 7 times a day and the loan is not in my name and I am nothing on the loan. The loan is in my mom's name yet they call my number, when I live 2 states away, and have nothing to do with it. She is not behind either anymore yet they still call and are stupid!

Capital One auto loans lacks high quality customer service and sometimes they do not send the car bills...I rely on paper car bill to make the payment. I mean the gas company is decent enough to send me the bill each month and that's ony a $30 bill! but oops...the auto loan company forgets to send me my bill sometimes....so pay a late charge they say! A complaint should be filed through BBB and customer relations.

Capital One is the worst company to deal with. I have an auto loan with them...they don't send me the statement to pay for my car sometimes and they say "oh the computer actually generates the statements and sends them out...you should have gotten a statement but sometimes computers make mistakes and if its a holiday, the computer may not recognize it and it may skip a month or so on your statement"  So now I have to keep track of the due date on a calendar each month and pay over the internet...at the library that is since I do not have an online option and it costs way too much to pay by phone! They are so unorganized!

WARNING ! Phone Phishing scam!  They will try to get you to divulge personal and financial information by claiming to be from Capital One. DO NOT give them any information! Only give information to them in a call YOU initiate!

They've called 5 to 6 times a day for two weeks. I just purchased my cell phone. They keep asking for someone else; I've asked them to remove this number, and they always lie and say they will. I'm sick of it!

Just bought a new car using Capital One as my finance company. I haven't had the car a week and I've gotten 20plus calls at my home and business however no message is ever left. My first payment is not even due for 45 days. Wish I would have read about them before I chose to use them as a finance company.

Asked for Carol.  Call from different numbers with area code and first three digits the same.  I've tried to call capital one auto finance and I can never get a human on the phone to get my number taken off of the list.

This is CAPITAL ONE AUTO FINANCE in Dallas, Texas.  They start calling the first day into your 15 day "grace period" on your auto loan and if you don't answer, their computer redials every 50 minutes from 8 am to 9 pm local time until you answer.  Even when you make arrangments to pay before your 15 day "grace period" expires, they will continue to call daily until they receive your payment.

Calls repeatly and will never leave a message?  If you can't leave a message about what your calling about don't call at all.  Plan to cancel all banking with Capital One if this continues.  Probably calling from India and can barely speak english.  The company image is going to be damaged and will become dirt in the public eye.

I've never answered, but they call here sometimes every 15 minutes. First one number, it stops another immediately calls, then another. I've left the phone off the hook on a call and it sounds like a fax. They call from 8 am to 9pm and usually every 15 to 20 minutes. There's no answer sometimes either and I have put this number on the Do Not Call Registry. No overdues for this amount of time, these calls have been going on for months! Sometimes I have to unplug the phone or leave to have peace. Every day of the week.

I have been receiving calls for 4 days, every 30 minutes over a 3 hour period.  I have answered 3 times to hear that the caller is looking for the same person--who does not have my number (I've had the same number for over 5 years).  The second time I answered, I told the caller to remove my number from their list.  The next day I had 6 calls which I did not answer.  Today, I came home to 5 calls and answered the 6th just to chew someone out.  I've submitted every call on the Do Not Call Registry complaint site.  I'm cancelling my Capital One credit card with the next call I get.

These people are TERRIBLE!  They have called five times per day for the last 6 months for "Shannon".  When I called Capital One to have them stop the calls they offered to file a report, but only wanted my name - not the phone number . . . .

This is Capital One. They just called me and left no message but I called them back. They just wanted to give me a welcome call and confirm my phone numbers since my father is also on my account. They were very nice and informed me of all my payment option for when my payment is due. I just got this loan two weeks ago.

Keep calling.  They don't even answer and i don't have a loan with Captial one or anything to do with them

it is Cap One Auto - they are relentless.  I just made a payment today and they are still calling.  You don't answer one number they try another one.  They never leave messages - it is really annoying.  Can't wait to get to a point where I can get rid of the loan.  Never again

What do they want!?  They been calling me everyday for the past month from 3 different numbers.  I searched the other numbers and other people who have answered aren't so sure about them and have refused to give information.  Most others figure the same and don't answer.  I'm not answering any of those numbers and the only time they will hear from me is to make a payment.  For me to answer they will have to call from a business type toll free number (800, 866)
