Teresa called here - again- too, asked for one of the owners by name. I declined, and put her into the spam voicemail. She was polite, but we're still not interested.

The latest name is "Todd" something or other.  Not as arrogant as other people have posted but surely the same old scam.

This idiot calls and asks for a person that doesn't work at the company and then hangs up. When you call back, he just hangs up. What a coward, an idiot, and a complete LOSER!

"Transition Companies" phone number 972-450-3161 wanting to talk to the owner about a "private business interest".
I told her no.
This is a scam and these people should be arrested.
We are located in the San Francisco area.

Transition companies has a new name - Teresa. She uses the same phone number 972-450-3161. Scammers trying to get you to buy a service to help get rid of debts.

I just called and spoke to Patrick White's supervisor. He seemed legit apologizing for Mr. White's rudness.  His name is Michael Brackens (sp) 972-450-3195.  He also told me he would put us on the Do Not Call list.

5-06-2013  I've received a similar message this time from Howerd Patton with TTC who says he has a  private interest in our company.  Says they are active in our industry.  Sounds like he spends his time online checking websites so he can call for the CEO/Owner with his mysterious message.

Warning! this company is a scam. They claim they will help you sell your business but they simply want to collect a $30,000 retainer fee and then do nothing. They will tell you that your company is valuable and convince you that the "timing is now" to sell it. Then after paying the upfront retainer fee..........NOTHING!

Patrick White, phone # 972-450-3143 called our company to talk with our owner.....he will NEVER get through,  what a jerk.  I asked if he was calling to make a purchase, he replied with "he hasn't CONVINCED me yet to buy".  I've been screening my boss's calls for 25 years and......just a note to cold call sales people.....you will NEVER get to whom you are asking for if you are a jerk, offensive or cold to the person answering the phone.

Yeah, this guy is a real jerk.  Called our company from 972-450-3143 asking for our GM by the wrong name.  Utter jerk.  He will never get through.

Mr. White just called here and was a very rude man. Only wanted to speak to the owner of the company and insisted on his voicemail. We do not have voicemail as we do everything by hand and that seemed to really irritate him. All he would say is that it is a business matter between him and the owner and none of my business. he left the number 972-450-3143. i googled it and found this. He will not be getting thru any time soon.

Al Hartwell just called asking to speak to the owner.  Claimed it was a confidential matter.  He did not even know the proper name of the company, so therefore, no phone call will be returned.

Patrick White from TTC left a voicemail for our CEO while we were at a tradeshow.  Before passing the message on I decided to do a Google search and found great information...needless to say Mr. Patrick White from TTC will NOT be getting throug to my CEO in this lifetime...

Patrick White with TTC @ 972 450-3143 has been making unsolicited calls to our office and asking for the CEO. I tryed to return his call and got suspicious when I got a recording.  I decided to check him out on the internet and was surprised to find all this about this guy.  I will not be calling him for sure.

I just received a call from MR Patrick White, he got put into our dump box, I hope he calls back again, he and i will have fun on the phone together.

Scam company ripped me off. They made all theses promises and the delivered on none. Mike Allen came to our business and told us we could be sold for more than our value. They would fix it for 35,000 dollars, well when it came down to our value being less than, guess what for another 35,000 they would fix our firm. So i dug a bit and asked some of my business friends and what do you know, Mike Allen took money from one of my buddies business with another from called RSM Equico. Also the CEO of this TTC is a former employee of GW Equity which was fired for doing shady things. WOW I am shocked, also I saw were TTC is purporting to be in business since 1988, however read the rip off report closely (http://www.ripoffreport.com/small-business-services/the-transition-compa/the-transition-companies-tran-b58cc.htm) and you can see they opened up in 2008. So I guess they weren't INC 5000 eligible either, all of my contracts and this info is with my state AG at this point so it is what it is. Got me once but not twice!

Same, same, same.  I understand the need for telemarketers, but I expect them to be respectful and professional.  Patrick White was neither.  I sent email per the post above and hope not to be contacted again by anyone at that company.

This is the second time our company has posted regarding The Transition Companies and Patrick White. We received another call from TTC just this morning, from a woman this time. After our receptionists had been harrassed by Patrick White, and others from TTC, I called in and spoke to their CEO - a Mr. Brakens (I believe his first name was Mike). I got his email address, which is mbrakens@transitioncompanies.com. I would encourage anyone to email Mr. Brakens, or call into The Transition Companies (at 972-450-3100) and ask for THEIR CEO to let him know how you feel about his employees harrassing you and/or your company. I did both.

We told these folks our CEO has been out since December due to a serious medical condition, and we're not sure if, or when, he'll be back. So since they refuse to stop calling, and since they are harrassing and cussing our employees, and since I saw of these complaints on WhoCallsMe, I have filed a complaint with the FCC. I am also looking into taking more serious and drastic measures as well.

I'm sure like most of the companies commenting here our company appreciates its customers, and treats them with a level of respect. We've been doing so for 65 years. TTC obviously does not have respect for the people they are calling on. I'm a free market, pro-capitalist type of person, but companies like TTC soil that type of spirit and should therefore be held accountable for their actions.

So glad I googled this guy....he just called and was also VERY RUDE on the phone, didn't give his name though the name "PATRICK" came up on caller i.d.  When I asked if I could take a message for him, he asked for the CEO's voicemail instead.  So...I transferred him to voicemail and then I checked the voicemail a minute later...he left his name and phone number and said he's with TTC and would like a phone call back.  my boss won't be bothered with this message and I'll know better next time if he calls again.  his number is 972-450-3173.  Goodness gracious, get a real job Patrick!  

fyi- this is a great site for all exec assistants and secretaries to express their frustrations out on rude unsolicited callers!

WE RECEIVE CALLS DAILY FROM TRANSITION COMPANY...........972-450-3173.  I KEEP PUTTING HIM THROUGH TO VMAIL BECAUSE HE WILL NEVER GO ANY FURTHER THAN THAT.  HE THINKS HE IS GOING THRU TO A VMAIL AND LEAVES A MESSAGE.......GUESS WHAT BUDDY 'OLE BUDDY.............  YOU CAN GO THRU TO VMAIL TILL THE COWS COME HOME!  :-)

Mr. White from TCC (he called it Tango Charlie Charlie). ASked for people who retired many years ago. Would not leave a name and number asked to leave a voice mail, but did not do so. Called back and asked for someone else who also retired years ago. Offered to take message for new owner but he refused.

Patrick White of TTC 972-450-3173 keeps calling our office to speak to our CEO too.  Our office gets so many unsolicited calls for "the owner' that we've had to set up a voicemail to 'oblivion' to route them to.  People at work do not have time to deal with phone solicitors and I wish businesses could add their numbers to the national 'do not call' list.  THEY ARE WASTING MY TIME AND THEIRS!

Patrick White called our company requesting the CEO by name. She is usually only in the office one day a week because the President handles in office business. Because of this arrangement she does not have office vm, but is available on her cell for urgent issues. I asked if she was expecting his call. He asked if she was there. I said she was but had been in meetings all afternoon (which was actually true!). He told me to find out if she was available. I put him on hold and came back and said she was in a meeting. He commented that it was a "long meeting". I asked if I could take a message. He gave me his name and number and said he wanted to talk about printing and then hung up. Very rude and pushy individual. I have made a note for myself to make sure he is never allowed passed the operator!!!!

It sounds like the same story over and over.  I received a call from Patrick and he asked to speak to our CEO.  He did not know her name so I offered to take a written massage.  He asked when she would be availabe.  I insisted on the written message when he proceeded to tell me that I obviously didn't understand what he was asking and he offered to "dumb" it down for me.  He would not tell me the nature of his call or his company or even his name.  I had to call back to find this out.  I wonder if these tactics work for him because I can't see how anyone would want to do business with such a dick (sory, couln't help it)
