Mr. West isn't a police officer nor does he work for the Sheriffs department. He has been known to pose as a Private investigator also, call the Texas Department of Public Safety Private security dept. report the number and the person it's illegal in the state of Texas to pose as a Private Investigator or Police officer of any sort for any reason. you must be properly liscenced and produce ID to prove this.

Same thing just happened to me.  He said he would come up to my place of employment and serve an arrest warrant on me.  He also gave me his cell phone number 214-780-8659 to call him back by a certain time and he would not come up.

Got a call from "Cindy" regarding investigation #so-and-so.  Said it was important that I call them back.  They did not use my name in the message.  Called them, they wanted to know who I was (they should know that since I gave them the case # they left).  They were evasive and just kept telling me they were calling for "investigator Mike West" but would not say what kind of investigator.  Asked me if I was some name (not me - no shocker there!).  They got mad at me and would not let me talk to Mike West when I said it seemed like a total scam.  I called back, got different guy, he said I should not be giving them the run around!

this mike west person who threatened to arrest me (with innovative recovery solutions) had a tow truck arrive and demanded the car or said he would report it stolen, his card said mike smith printed with no business or government information, just numbers, and has mike smith on a fake badge with investigator on the top of the badge. he then sat outside and "reported the car stolen" and said whoever was driving the car would be sent to jail. funny, i thought posession was nine tenths of the law and that repo men are not legally allowed to lie or intimidate. i think i'm gonna deliver the car myself to keep "mike west" or "innovative whatever they are" from receiving any money at all for the reposession.
