I would like to know if this is a non-profit organization or a scam.

its a telemarketer firm that makes donation request calls on behalf of different organizations-Shriners, Am Vets, VFW etc. We work with those organiztions pretty often, however we mail our donations directly to the organizations main offices as opposed to allowing them to pick up.

Follow up to Shriner call.  Wonder if scam or not

I have received multiple calls from some guy named John.  The guy (John) claims to be calling from the American Veterans Association.  He was asking for donations. He left the phone # (972) 702-2979 as his contact phone #.  He even faxed me information and the same contact phone # was listed on the fax. I asked him to email me information and he said that was not possible as he was calling from a call center.  I think this is a total scam!!!

After I declined the Shiner donation, got a call from this number asking for a donation for the American Veterans association. Asked me to leave donation under door mat for driver to pick up.

Total scam.

Got a call from this number for Amvets donation.  Received information in the mail.  I called main Dallas Amvets number at 214-309-1980 and was told that this number does call on behalf of Amvets.

Got calls very often for donation to New York Veteran Association with pressure. Asking to confirm the amount of dollars in a certain short period, totally a scam!

kept calling our law office for donations.  said was Charles Moore

Very odd.  I'm getting the same voicemail over and over. I'm ignoring them now. Some kind of scam I'm sure.

A person by the name of Mike Wallace has left at least a dozen messages for me to return his call. I try but get a 'fax-like'  noise. I'd like this person to please stop calling me. He never leaves any details about the purpose of his call.
