Did you follow up on this?  I received something in the mail regarding this.

A "Richard Hahn" called, claiming to be an agent of the FDIC, re: the Indy Mac Bank closure. He wanted me to call him back and leave my fax number so he could send me some documents to fill out and send back to him

I'll check with my branch tomorrow.

Sounds like a scam to me.
