caller id says:  "VOTE TEXAS"
It is a robo call which REFUSES to hang up when I press the disconnect button!!!  WTF?!?! I can't get rid of them even by hanging up on them.  If I pick up the green/pick up button, the recording is still going!!!

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I converted my house phone over to Google voice. Now any call coming to that number is forwarded to my cell phone. It keeps a record of the calls and I go through every so often and block any of the spammers. The trick is to give out the Google phone number, not your cell phone number when someone asks for your phone information. Then if they sell it, you can block the results. It isn't perfect, but I'm not bothered by as many of these spam callers now because Google catches them.

Now they called back YET AGAIN, but this time it says "Private Number"

I'll see if I can waste another 25mins of their time if they call back again today (which they undoubtably will)

They just will not leave me alone.......................I don't do surveys and find it annoying that they won't go away.  They keep calling and have no way to opt out.

Vote Texas. Still calling, multiple times per day for over a month.

Tonight I answered and tried a the normal # to opt out,... nothing. So I pressed zero every 10 to 15 seconds and kept them on the phone for over 25 minutes while I enjoyed watching one of my favorite TV shows. :)

They are spam. DO NOT TAKE THEIR "SURVEY"... they can easily take your answers on who to vote for and what you think is the most pressing issue facing America today... and tie that to your phone records to know what YOU would vote and how YOU think.

(Hint: It's a Republican survey when they start out each question with the Republican candidate names and have "repeal Obamacare" as a choice for the most pressing issue.)

Called us three times today; no message. Answered the last time to try to make it stop. It was silence, and then they hung up.

I understand your plight, and sympathize.

The DNC list works for legitimate telemarketers, but doesn't stop calls from criminal telespammers.

Some choices:
* Delete "old" entries from your blocker, to make room for new ones (not too effective)
* Get a new blocking device, that has a bigger "memory" (may or may not be within your budget)
* Ignore calls from numbers you do not recognize (no cost, but it sure is tempting to pick up, isn't it?)
* Ask your phone company to block the most persistent of telescammers (they may be able to help)
* Consider their call as an entertainment opportunity, and have fun misleading them. (Yes, some folks do this!)
* Consider Google Voice as a phone provider (google "google voice")
* Consider "nomorobo" if your phone company allows that service (google "nomorobo")

Get continuous calls from 972 829-6065.  If I call back, get a busy signal.  We are elderly,
not in good health and often try to nap during the day.  Is there anyway to stop these
annoying calls?  We are already on the DO NOT CALL list, but that doesn't seem to
matter.

I tried blocking them, but there are so many, our phone blocking feature is full.

Okay, is there something I can do, someone I can complain to, to get this caller to stop calling my number? Seems like I read or heard that you cannot really stop the political calls (which, if true, is b***s***).

Caller Id "Vote Texas" called twice yesterday and 3 times today.
Yesterday left no msg.  Today hung up when answered.

These people call all the time and never leave a message

I'm sick of this number calling me!! They call up to 6 times a day. Caller ID says "Vote Texas". I have never answered it and never will. I'm on the DNC list not that it does any good since companies are finding ways around it.

This number started calling last nite and I keep missing it.  Tried to call back but rings busy.  Then the calls started again today and same thing.

Called our office at 4:36 PM Saturday -- caller ID listed the number and "VOTE TEXAS". They did not leave a message.

"Vote Texas" wanting me to do a survey.  I hung up immediately; I refuse to do surveys.  Another one added to the call block feature on my phone.

I am thankful for the internet and that it allows us to see whose calling or at least get comments to know what is going on.  I wanted to share with you what I finally did with these annoying calls.  I purchased the Panasonic KX-TG680B cordless landline phone.  This phone was the best investment I ever made!  I will answer the call once and when I know it is a call I NEVER want again, I block the number.  In this case I was not home when this caller called so I look at the information here and now the call is blocked.  In this case I have it set up to ring once (I was testing to see if this really worked) and then the call is terminated or goes somewhere other than here.  This phone blocks around 250 numbers and so far I have blocked 49 phone numbers and my number is unlisted!!  

Not a Ron Paul supporter, no reason to be on this list.....no message...

"We are conducting a survey.... first, press 1 if you are a man or 2 if you are a woman."  There was no removal option.

This number calls me every other day in the afternoon early evening multiple times. The caller ID says "Vote Texas"

Received a call from this number at 8:20pm and 9:34 pm.  Did not leave a message. We don't recognize this number.
