Received a call from this number with caller ID of "Medco Healty SO".  I was not home to answer the call.  Based on my past experience with Medco, I would not have answered the call any way.

Rec'd a call from this number on SATURDAY, 2/16/13 at 9:34 AM.  I told them I would call them back. The Caller ID showed "Medco Health"   What is a health company doing calling me on a Saturday. (Seems I remember them calling me previously on a Saturday and I was not home to answer.  The person who called seemed to be in a hurry and told me to call  when (I finished my errand) 800-935-6103, at which time I would have to give them my full name and DOB.  At 10:13AM I received a call from "Medco Health 702-436-1374" but I was not home to ans the call.  Why did they call me for a second time within 45 minutes (and from a different number)?   This sounded like a scam, so I did not call them back.

Agreed this is MEDCO, next to the DMV, is a most incompetent organization.  No one should have to spend hours upon hours to have their prescriptions decifered.  A person has no control for what their doctors write a script for, if it is the correct medication, just fill the freaking order! How hard can this be!!  MEDCO makes it hard for everyone, what's worse is that they beleive their pharmacists' know more than your doctor/specialist.  As in our case, on several occassions had wanted us to speak to pharmacist about going without insulin for a Type-1 diabetic!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, what do their pharmacist know that our Endo-Medical Doctor doesn't know!!?  The MEDCO group is a joke.

Medco is totally incomptent!  I received a prescription from them than contained two (2) different medications in one container and are not identified. I spoke with a person who told me to just take the larger pill as that could be the correct one. Who is going to take mixed medication in a container when one does not know what they are taking.

The U.S. Government contracted with Medco as they were the lowest bidder. Please be very careful when dealing with this company as they don't care whether you get the correct prescription.

This phone number is from irving tx. They left a very vague phone number using my name and at first I did not know who it was but then I figured it out. It was from a company called medco, or a company they have outsourced their health insurance prescription authorization to. My health insurance is through united health care and the prescription policy portion is handled by medco who has to get authorizations for certain drugs to be fillled by your pharmacist before they will pay for them. Be warned they will do what they can to frustrate you, not calling back, not faxing authorizization forms to your doctor, not receiving faxes that have been sent multiple times, even if you have a fax submittal report from your bfax machine, putting you or your doctor through hour long hold times. I think to frsutrate you so you won't persist to get your drug authorized and paid for by them... most often the drugs are very expensive. Also be careful when they transfer you and get the callers name and location and ext if they have one, because they will say they will do something and giveb you a case number but often won't write down in their notes what they promised you to cover their butts. Very shady... I spent 3 days, one whole day from 5:30am I the morning to 7pm at night going back and forth with them before I was approved.
